North Berwick in East Lothian is a seaside town, situated on the south shore of the Firth of Forth, approximately 25 miles east of Edinburgh. North Berwick became a fashionable holiday resort in the 19th century because of its two sandy bays, the East (or Milsey) Bay and the West Bay, and continues to attract holiday makers to this day.
The town has many amenities, including classic fish n' chip shops and ice cream parlours. The town park has crazy golf and a playground, while there is a putting green on the front.
There are also several golf courses in the area. North Berwick's Golf Club is said to be among the best in the world.
