To the West lies Snowdonia, the tallest mountain in Wales (see image), a magnet for climbers and walkers. For water lovers you will find some of the best sailing and surfing beaches in North Wales on the Llyn Peninsula.

The Isle of Anglesey  is surrounded by 125 miles of coastline and a host of historical sites whilst the North Wales Borderlands is dominated by the spectacular Clwydian hills  and interesting market towns on Chester's doorstep.

For families the Coastal Resorts, Prestatyn, RhYl and Llandudno offer a wide range of exciting and fun filled attractions, plus a wide programme of events and evening entertainment. 

North Wales has many family attractions from zoos and farm parks to steam trains and leisure centres and events from cultural festivals and agricultural shows to family fun days.
