The Scottish Region of Angus lies on the east coast of Scotland is home to stunning rugged coastlines. This area is great for hill walking or walks along the coastline with miles of sandy beaches.

Angus and Dundee is brimming with history and offers a wide variety of visitor attractions which allows visitors to learn all about Scotland's roots through the years. One of the more popular attractions is the ancestral home of the late Queen Mother at Glamis Castle.

Recommended is a visit to Scone Palace, the crowning place of Scottish Kings through the ages and home to the "Stone of Destiny".

Golf is a key activity in Angus and Dundee as it is home to Carnoustie's Championship Golf Course and is within driving distance of the other internationally known golfing destinations like St Andrews, with the Old Course, ranked one of the top 10 courses in the World and the home of Golf.

Arbroath is famous for its Arbroath Smokies. If you havent tasted a Smokie then its a must do!  Brechin is Scotland's smallest city, dating back to the 12th century and is full of charm and character.

Dundee is the main city within Angus. Over recent years Dundee, known as the "City of Discovery", has transformed itself into a popular short break destination, with an excellent shopping arena, theatre and museums. In 2017 Dundee's £1bn waterfront development is due to be completed. - regarded as one of the top 10 re-generation projects in Europe will put Dundee firmly back on the map as an in-place to visit. One of the other benefits of choosing Dundee as your holiday destination, is the fact you can match a city break with some country living. Dundee is a small but vibrant city, so it only takes a very short time to be out in the open countryside, strolling along glistening beaches, playing a round of golf ( St Andrews is only 40 minutes away), or mountain biking along many of the Forest Trails which can be found around Dundee.
