Montrose is an historic seaside town. Due to its location between Dundee and Aberdeen is an base for visiting the small fishing villages and towns dotted along the coast, or for a trip inland to discover the Angus Glens.
Montrose Beach is 3 miles of golden sand and makes for a great day out for the family.
Golf is in abundance in this part of Scotland. Angus itself has dozens of courses available to visitors and the historic Montrose Links course is literally five minutes from the Park hotel.
Walkers and cyclists can enjoy the roads and tracks in and around Montrose and for sightseers you can also visit Glamis Castle or the House of Dun & Monstrose Basin Nature Reserve.
