Things to see & do in Taynuilt

The village of Taynuilt (meaning ‘house by the burn’) lies near Loch Etive at Airds Bay and near the entrance to the Pass of Brander and is 12 miles from Oban.

This large village is also nestled at the foot of Ben Cruachan, between Loch Etive and Loch Awe, in an area of outstanding natural beauty and steeped in history. There’s no shortage of things to see and do. The immediate area and surrounding Argyll is vibrant with an abundance of things to do.

Whether you want to go sightseeing, hillwalking, fishing, visit castles, historical or archaeological sites, find out how whisky is made or take a boat trip to go whale watching and see dolphins, seals, sea eagles and puffins, Argyll won’t disappoint.
