Things to see & do in Crianlarich
The small historic village of Crianlarich, lies in the glen of StrathFillan, half way along the famous footpath the West Highland Way.
It is situated on the line dividing Oban and Fort William and is known locally as the Gateway to the Highlands as it looks up to the mountainous skyline of the western extent of the Trossachs.
Ben More; Stob Binnein and Cruach Ardrain are a few of the several Munro peaks that shadow the village.
Crianlarich also offers a good shop and post office, an attractive little church, and the only police station for some distance in any direction. It is also convenient for those wanting to climb the mountains of Glen Falloch, or Ben More, which towers over the village to its east.
