All of the spacious hotel bedrooms at Garstang Country Hotel have been recently refurbished and have en-suite bathrooms comprising of a shower over a bath, colour flat screenTV with Free-view and Sky available, free Wi-Fi connectivity. All the bed linen is Egyptian cotton with duvets, throw and two pillows of different softness.

Real wood furniture includes a wardrobe and a set of drawers so you don’t have to live out of your suitcase. There is also a desk area in the room for guests who need a quiet place to catch up on their work and sofa or comfy chair for you to relax in whilst enjoying the picturesque views of our 18 hole parkland golf course or the award winning gardens and the beautiful landscape beyond.

Essentials such as coat hangers, towels and toiletries are also provided in the room at no extra cost.

All the bedrooms are easily accessible to wheelchairs users and two of our bedrooms are adapted to suit the needs of disabled guests with handrails and lowered handles and switches. To further improve the disabled facilities 2013 the hotel converted Room 1 into a walk in shower, please request this room on booking if you have particular difficulty getting in and out of a bath.

Any Twitchers amongst you may want to request a golf view room as they hotel has hung some bird nest boxes opposite these rooms.

All of the bedrooms are non-smoking but sheltered smoking areas are provided.

Head Chef Alan Hayward and his team work together to provide you with the finest cuisine and with the finest ingredients all sourced from local suppliers. Each menus is designed to suite all tastes and vegetarian dishes are always available.

2 menus are available at the Garstang Country Hotel as well as a daily specials board. The 'Brasserie menu' is served from 11:00am till 6:00pm and the Evening menu, orders are taken from between 6.00pm till 9.00pm.

Kingfisher Restaurant
After discovering a family of Kingfishers alongside the River Wyre that straddles the hotel grounds the restaurant name was born. The restaurant is a more formal dining area balanced with the rustic feel and views of a country house hotel. It is always best to book in advance especially for Sunday Lunches and weekends as the restaurant can often be booked out.

Bradbeer Brasserie
Refurbished in 2015. The relaxed atmosphere in this bar makes it popular for residents and none residents . Enjoy fresh cut sandwiches, salads, curries, fish and fat fried chips to rib eye steaks. Available until 6pm evry day.

Bradbeer Brasserie Bar
Named after the course designer at the Bradbeer Bistro Bar you will find everything from premier bitters to speciality coffees, from rib eye steak to a warm ciabatta sandwich. With its quick service and laid back atmosphere. With the big screen in the lounge area of the bar the Bradbeer bar is often a favoured meeting point.

In fine weather eat al fresco on the patio with stunning views over the 18th green and rolling countryside. An ideal place to drop in for a morning coffee or small bite to eat accompanied by a fine wine or refreshing lager.

Open 7 days a week from 7am till late. Food served from 7am till 9.30pm.

Kingfisher Lounge
The kingfisher Residents Lounge Bar serves the restaurant and also the Kingfisher suite with its wide selection of draught and bottled beers, spirits and an excellent wine list from around the world. Pascal and the team from Grapevine scour the globe in the envious job of visiting vineyards and tasting wine for the tables of Garstang and many other renowned independent eateries across the region. As well as providing wine by the bottle there is fine selection of Chilean wines available by the glass.

By Car
From the South (Preston)

From junction 32 follow the A6 signposted Garstang for 6.5miles passing through a number of small villages including Broughton, Barton and Bilsborrow.

Look for the large garden centre on your left then the petrol station and Spa shop on your right, after these you will notice a brown tourist sign for Garstang Country Hotel and Golf Club which directs you down the first turn off for Garstang, take this turning and follow it for 1 mile the course and hotel signage will appear on your left and all signs are well lit at night so it is difficult to miss us.
From the North (Lancaster):

From junction 33 follow the A6 signposted Garstang / Preston for 7.8 miles, on reaching Garstang remain on the A6 and continue towards Preston for a further 2 miles passing the Blackpool turnoff on your right.

Following the brown tourist sign for Garstang Country Hotel and Golf club take the next left onto Cock Robin Lane continue to end of the lane then turn left the Hotel is located ? mile on your left hand side, all signs are well lit at night so it is difficult to miss us.

The numbers 40 and 41 buses run from Preston bus station every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday and every hour on Sunday. Approximate cost of £4.15 dropping off anywhere in Garstang, ask the driver for the stop closest Garstang Golf Course.

From Lancaster:

The numbers 40 and 41 buses run from Lancaster bus station every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday and every hour on Sunday. Approximate cost of £5.70 dropping off anywhere in Garstang, ask the driver for the stop closest to Garstang Golf Course.

From Blackpool:

Take the number 42 from Blackpool town centre run every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday and every hour on Sunday. Approximate cost of £6.00 dropping off anywhere in Garstang, ask the driver for the stop closest Garstang Golf Course.

By Train:

To Preston:

Our nearest train station is Preston rail station located in the city centre.There is a taxi rank adjacent to the station or there is a 15 minute walk to the bus station which can be found by turning right onto the main road Fishergate and continuing onto Church street for 0.5miles, then turn left onto Church row for 100 meters the station will be in front of you.

To Lancaster:

There is a taxi rank adjacent to the station or there is a 10 minute walk to the bus station which can be found by heading towards Westbourne road and turn right and continue on Meeting house lane and Market Street for 0.4 miles until you reach China Street. Turn left and continue for 0.3 miles onto Bridge Lane. The bus station will be on your right on New road.

Garstang Country Hotel Golf Course & Golf Centre
Garstang Golf Course was built in 1992 and, alongside the hotel which opened for the British Open golf Chamionships at nearby Lytham, has now become a well established and respected golf facility for golf in the North West. The course is playable all year round thanks to the excellent drainage and layout. The greens are amongst the finest of Preston golf clubs and Lancashire golf clubs and prepared to competition standards which has led us to being one of the most popular pay and play courses for golf in the North West.

The club house and adjoining hotel provides excellent catering facilities for golfers and the location makes an ideal central hub for golf in the North West.
