Directions to George Hotel in Penrith
Leave the M6 at Junction 40 and take exit off the roundabout sign-posted Ullswater Rd/A592. Stay in right lane and continue straight over the next roundabout. On your left you will pass petrol station and Cranstons, a local supermarket. Continue down to the end of the road, on the left hand side you will pass a Wickes, the train station and a Mcdonalds. Take the first left at the mini-roundabout and stay in the left lane (right lane takes you into Morrisons). Go straight over the roundabout and continue down the hill.
Follow the one-way system all the way around, stay in the right lane and take a left into the town center just before the traffic lights. Continue through town passing the shops. Turn left just before Intersport and head down that road, slowly. Look over to the right and next to the flower shop you will see an archway with a barrier. This is the George Hotel car park. The barrier will open automatically (you need a code to get out).
