We have cancelled our booking following the government advice regarding corona virus. I am disappointed that you have chosen to take a £5 cancellation fee. I am sure it is detailed within your terms and conditions but given the circumstances I would have thought that you would waive this fee.

In response to this unfortunately we do still need to charge the £5 cancellation fee as you can imagine we have been hit fairly hard by this news with guests cancelling all reservations for the next few weeks therefore we have to recoup some of our costs somehow.
Amendments to bookings are still free of charge up to 48 hours prior to arrival.
We are sorry not to be able to stay with you at the moment but Covid19 makes our travel impossible. Hope to be able to stay before too long.
I have had to cancel my booking for this week as my husband has been ill and we are both in the vulnerable group . Susan did it all by email within half an hour of my enquiry . Great service as always.
Nice hotel small but full of character. Found room rather small compared to Ayrshire mercure, but was OK for a night. The rooms sound proofing is poor could hear next doors conversations and there was only 3 channels on TV member of staff said they couldn't retune tvs. The dinner was really nice we had three courses not a fault service was friendly and fast. Went down stairs to bar which was unattended most likely because it was rather quiet. My partner helped a member of staff as because bar was un attended some member of public took two bottles of vodka from bar and walked out so he went on search with member of staff to get back thankfully they did (not even a complimentary drink for his help).

I have had to cancel my bookings as we have been in contact with a friend who is now in isolation. We were looking forward to our stay as it was to celebrate our 52 wedding anniversary. We will certainly rebook when we are safe to do so.

Only reason for cancelling the booking was because of the current situation my friend from Sweden does not want to fly at this time but I will definitely be booking again.

Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances I have to cancel my booking to Fairmont St Andrews twice . First occasion was due to the storms and car damage and today due to my husband who had been abroad and since returning home has been ill . The staff at myhotelbreak have been nothing but polite, helpful and understanding .
I have every intention of re booking again as I am determined to get to the Fairmont but cannot provide alternative dates until I know my husband is well again

All staff made us feel very welcome, and couldn't do enough for us. From reception, to bar and waiters at night for our delicious meal. Afternoon tea was lovely too. Rooms are very spacious and modern. Very clean and all extras very much appreciated. Thankyou you all so much for a lo Ely overnight stay. Would definatley recommend this hotel for future stays to family and friends. X
A great overnight stay for 6 friends. The staff couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome from start to finish. Rooms clean and fresh with a lovely breakfast too. The town was close by and gave us a great shopping/dining experience. A hidden gem with great value for money - we will be back.
My wife and I, (79/82 years old) are sorry to have to cancel our booking but, under the present circumstances concerning this; coronavirus, we both feel
we have no choice. My wife has ongoing health problems and she just cannot take the chance of being infected.
Please keep sending us your offers as they come in and hopefully we can pick another excellent deal through your website after this present virus trouble has cleared.

Just spent an over night stay at mercure hotel princes street with dinner wine and breakfast was a brilliant value for money break thank you
Just back from the Mercure hotel in Edinburgh at the weekend for an overnight. Holly dealt with my enquiry promptly and efficiently in every way and could not fault the booking process. The room was clean, however it was extremely tired and in need of some serious TLC. Our bed looked like a kind size however it was in fact 2 single beds put together which wasn't the comfiest unfortunately. Breakfast was very nice and staff were very friendly. Great location, just unfortunately looks a bit run down and needs some attention in the decor department.
I have just returned from Edinburgh We Stayed 2 nites at the Leonardo hotel Murryfield on a deal? We Really enjoyed our stay. Staff were so nice... Especially Tommy the Waiter Such a nice Guy and he knew his Stuff. Great receiving info on all the deals? ...
