The Galloway Red Kite Trail is an opportunity to view red kites around Loch Ken. The Trail is an anti-clockwise route which is 24 miles around the Loch. There are six outdoor viewing points, nine walks, four hides and a feeding station.
A 1400 acre wild reserve on the Solway Coast. Wintering Birds include thousands of Svalbard Barnacle Geese and Whooper Swans. Summer months have visiting Ospreys.
