Dalmunzie Castle Hotel in Glenshee is a stunning baronial mansion fit for a Laird. This traditional Scottish hotel in Perthshire stands proudly at the head of a 6500-acre estate dating back to 1510 and has a breath-taking backdrop of the Spittle of Glenshee, Cairngorm Mountains, glens and little rivers. Despite its remote location, Dalmunzie Castle is less than two hours away from Edinburgh airport and can be reached down a long 2-mile driveway just off the A93.

For those who enjoy Scotland’s famous sport – Golf, then Dalmunzie has its own course which is one of the highest in the UK. With a spectacular 6,500-acre estate surrounding the hotel, outdoor activities are in ample supply at Dalmunzie Castle, with a wide of things to see and do to keep even the most active guest satisfied.

Each of the 17 bedrooms at Dalmunzie Castle Hotel has been designed to reflect their original purpose as a relaxing retreat for the Laird and his family in this beautiful part of Scotland with no two bedrooms the looking same. This hotel accommodation in a Scottish Castle is highly individual and quirky, so if you prefer modern rectangular ‘box’ bedrooms and facilities usually associated with modern chain hotel groups, then we acknowledge Dalmunzie may not be for you. All rooms feature flat-screen TVs, wardrobes and seating areas, along with en suite baths and showers.

Dining at Dalmunzie Castle is an experience to savour. The team of chefs have the desire to make the best use of the freshest Scottish ingredients available locally and seasonally while giving an exceptional dining experience to represent Scotland and its cuisine in the best way possible. Experience a memorable meal accompanied by an outstanding wine list and views over the front lawn in the Spring and Summer months. ‘The Bar Snug’ enjoys a cosy corner position with Dalmunzie memorabilia and is a great place for long chats with friends and strangers alike.
