The Fisher's Hotel Pitlochry changed hands in July 2011 and the new owners, who also have the Atholl Palace Hotel, Pitlochry have transformed the Fisher's Hotel into a 4* star hotel. The new Fisher's Hotel looks and feels Scottish but with modern & bright touches. The outside of the Fisher's Hotel has been kept the same, with its striking Scottish façade & towers.

The Fisher's Hotel Pitlochry has always been a focal point in the area, and now that the modernisation is completed, the Fisher's Hotel is once again one of the main hotels to stay in whilst in this Victorian Perthshire town. With the shops on the Fisher's Hotel doorstep, the train station at the back of the hotel gardens, there is no easier place to stay in Pitlochry.

You can choose from a selection of bedrooms at the Fisher's Hotel Pitlochry, including the spacious Special Occasion Rooms and Garden View rooms. Many of the bedrooms enjoy views of the hotel's lovely gardens or of the picturesque Pitlochry.

The lounge bar is the ideal space to take a rest from your Pitlochry shopping trip and meet up with old friends and Pitlochry locals. The Coach House Bar is also available to serve bar meals from lunch until late evening.

Start the day with a hearty breakfast from the buffet, a selection of both continental and Scottish fayre.

Dinner is served from 6pm until 9pm every evening, booking is highly recommended, bookings can be made at reception. The table d'hote menu changes daily and is designed to offer value and variety. The chefs are committed to showcasing Highland Perthshire's world-class larder, with their use of local produce along with Scottish produce generally.

Gladstone’s Whisky Bar

The Gladstone’s Whisky Bar serves a wide range of malt whisky, ice-cold draught beers and lagers, a wide range of wine by the glass and a full range of soft drinks. Open daily from 11am to midnight (later for residents). There is an all-day menu available.

Mr Fisher’s Coffee Lounge

Sit back and relax in the comfort of either of the hotel lounges. Coffee is served all day and there is a wide range of snacks available. Afternoon Tea is served Monday-Saturday from 2pm -4.30 pm. Whilst the sun is out why not enjoy this on the terrace or in the award-winning gardens.

The Coach House Bar

The Coach House Bar is the hotel's public bar. All your pub favourites are served from noon to 9pm daily

Challenge your friends to a game of pool, they have two full-size tables and they are free on Wednesdays.

Location & Directions

Directions to Fisher's Hotel in Pitlochry

From Edinburgh, follow Forth Road Bridge then once over the bridge follow signs for Perth. On approaching Perth take A9 north for Inverness and Pitlochry is 24 miles north of Perth.

From Glasgow follow signs for Stirling, then Perth then A9 north signposted Inverness.

If you are arriving in Pitlochry by train the garden entrance is just a few steps from the mainline train station.

CAR PARK
From 23rd September 2020 the carpark cost will be £10 for the first day and £5 per day thereafter.

Should the hotel car park be full there are several public car parks in the town available for use. There is a small charge for using these. There is a car park 2 streets on the left from the front of the hotel, also nearby Heathergems – to the right of the hotel. They are usually 8am – 6pm for charging, however, if guests put money in at night it will go until the morning for them starting from 8am. However, we do recommend that the guests read the parking signs for confirmation.

Dinner Inclusive Rates
Unless otherwise stated when staying on a rate inclusive of Dinner, guests can either dine from the set 3-course Table D'Hote menu or a £15 allowance per person towards meals from the all-day menu.

The location of the Pitlochry Fisher's Hotel offers visitors beautiful walks along the River Tummel and through the woods around Loch Faskaly.
