The Blue Bell Hotel was at one point, an elegant Coaching Inn, but now enjoys a reputation as a popular three star Hotel. Set in fine gardens at the heart of Northumberland's dramatic and scenic landscape, the Belford Blue Bell Hotel is a Northumberland Hotel that can match the finest in the county for quality and service.

The accommodation at this North East England hotel is of a good standard with each room individually designed and decorated.

This area of England is renowned for its larder of locally sourced meat, game, fish and dairy products. The menus at the Blue Bell Hotel reflect as much as possible the seasons best local produce to provide award winning dishes prepared by highly trained chefs.

The décor in all the rooms reflects the traditional and historic ambience of the Blue Bell hotel but with modern high quality reproduction fittings, often incorporating classic style four poster beds, and clean, stylish soft furnishings.

Seven bedrooms are situated in the Courtyard, approx. 5 metres from the main hotel.

Bar & Restaurant

There are two environments within the Blue Bell hotel that each provide a unique dining experience, the garden restaurant and the hotel bar

The Blue Bell Hotels Garden Restaurant is renowned for its excellent dining facilities and extensive menus, using the best of fresh produce and local produce when they can. The highly qualified Chefs create award-winning dishes that meet the most discerning tastes. As the name suggests the Garden Restaurant allows guest to relax and enjoy their meal in tranquillity with views of the garden.

For a more informal choice then the Belford Tavern has a delicious selection of bar meals served to both residents and locals. The Tavern has a beamed ceiling, open fire for those winter nights and a superbly stocked bar with a selection of draught beers, lagers, wines, spirits and soft drinks.

The hotel bar has a lot of character and is well stocked for pre-meal aperitifs and after dinner drinks. Also on offer are carefully chosen selection fine malts, rare brandies, vintage port, fine wines, and a wide choice of beers.

A1 north of Newcastle upon Tyne 46 miles ,Turn left into Belford Village and the Blue Bell hotel is situated at the Market cross in the centre of the village.
