The Acarsaid Hotel in Pitlochry is one of Pitlochry’s oldest established hotels. Built in 1880 for Lady Helen Stuart, The Countess of Kilbride, this extended Victorian house is one of Pitlochry oldest hotels and with that distinction comes a long tradition of highland hospitality. The hotel is situated in an enviable position only a short, level walk from the centre of Pitlochry and offers a variety of accommodation for all visitors to this incredibly diverse part of Scotland. Directions to Acarsaid Hotel in Pitlochry

You will find the Acarsaid Hotel on Atholl Road, the main street that runs through Pitlochry.

By Car:
When you come off the A9 the slip road that leads into Pitlochry becomes Atholl Road. From the south; we are on the right just after the Blair Athol distillery and the railway bridge. From the North; drive right through the centre of Pitlochry and we are on the left shortly after Escape Route the bike shop.

By Train:
Pitlochry station is on the main route from London to Inverness served by both the East Coast route and Scotrail. The walk from the station to the Acarsaid is a pleasant walk via past the shops and tea rooms in the middle of the town but if you have a lot of luggage to carry a taxi is probably in order.

Bringing your bike on the train:
The most eco friendly way to visit Highland Perthshire is to bring your bike on the train. There are loads of great cycle routes and getting your bike on the train is easy if you BOOK IN ADVANCE at Scotrail - if you turn up with out a booking they won't allow your bike on the train!!

Check In:
Check in is from 3pm onwards. Should you choose to arrive at the hotel prior to check in time, your room won't be available. The hotel are unable to offer early check in's, you are welcome to leave your car in the car park before check-in & there is no need to tell us that it is there.

Pet Friendly
The Acarsaid Hotel does accept dogs (and certain other pets) but do have a limited number of rooms for this purpose which can only be reserved with confirmation from the Hotel - charges do apply at £12 per night which will be added to your account. As we have a limit on the number of rooms available to accept pets we recommend that you check with the Hotel before booking that one of these rooms is available as pets will not be accepted in any other rooms.
