The Mar Hall Hotel & Spa in Bishopton is centred on the original Mar Hall, which is a Baronial mansion, built in the 1840s. To this day the mansion still retains many original features. This luxury hotel near Glasgow Airport overlooks the River Clyde with views also towards the Kilpatrick Hills.
The 53 individually designed bedrooms and suites at the Mar Hall Hotel & Spa will leave you with a feeling of total relaxation. If you are looking for total luxury and extra space the Junior Suites and Grand Suites provide ample of both.
When dining at the Mar Hall Hotel & Spa there a many attractive formal and informal options. Light lunches, snacks and Afternoon Tea are served in the Grand Hall. Formal dining occurs within the Cristal Restaurant between 7pm and 10pm. (we regret that children are not allowed beyond 8pm). Another option is the Italian Restaurant, Il Posto.

Mar Hall Golf & Spa Resort welcomes guests who wish to bring their dogs to stay with them. However, there is a strict pet policy in operation at the Resort. If you wish to bring your dog with you, then please be aware that there will be a £30.00 supplement per room per night.

Bar & Restaurant
Executive Chef, Sam Carswell, who lets his fresh, seasonal, modern food talk eloquently on his behalf, leads the Mar Hall Hotels Cristal Restaurants Kitchen Brigade. He relies on the finest Scottish produce, cut or catch, sourced by suppliers with a passion for their work.
The Front-of-House team is committed to serious levels of service. Although dedicated to every detail, they create an ambience of intimacy with informality in which diners can fully relax.
The final ingredient in this experience is an environment reminiscent of a grand private residence with 20 foot windows, decorative ceilings, refined modern fabrics and art by Archie Forrest. This is excellence without compromise.
Cristal Restaurant is open from 7pm unti 10pm. (Children are not permitted beyond 8pm at Cristal Restaurant)
Located on the grounds of the Earl of Mar Estate, is the new Il Posto Ristorante. Within the restaurant and on the decking area, are spectacular views over the award winning golf course, the Kilpatrick Hills and beyond. Associate Master Chef of Great Britain, Colin Guthrie, runs the Kitchen.

The Grand Hall is at the heart of Mar Hall. Formerly known as the Picture Gallery, it is 118 feet in length. This classic environment is furnished with French style Louis XIV chairs and low coffee tables. Its ornate high ceilings, paintings, tapestries and carpeting capture the breath.
The 20ft windows allow ample natural light and views of the formal gardens, where a vast Lebanese Cedar resides. A resident pianist performs on the Baby Grand to create an appropriate mood for those enjoying a light snack, lunch or Afternoon Tea.
Informal Dining: Light lunches and snacks are served Monday to Saturday in the historic Grand Hall from 12 noon until 4pm in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. Sunday Lunch is served between 12 noon and 2pm.
Afternoon Tea: Afternoon Tea can be enjoyed in the Grand Hall every day between 2:30pm and 5pm (reservations required 24 hours in advance).
The Spike Bar at the 5* Mar Hall Hotel is stocked with a selection of cooling beers, refreshing champagnes and premium brand spirits (including several high-end single malts), the Spike Bar is a civilised place to enjoy a pre-dinner aperitif. It is decorated with mahogany and neutral tones and features chandeliers hanging from detailed ceilings.
Mar Hall Leisure Club provides a personal, friendly, 5 star service to enhance the motivation and fitness experience for people of all fitness levels, regardless of age, shape and size.
To help curb any excesses during your stay here, the swimming pool, gymnasium and aerobics studio are open from 7am-9pm on weekdays and 8am-8pm on weekends. There are also some great jogging trails in and around the wooded estate, plus river walks to enjoy.

Take the M6 then on to M74 then on to M73/M80 (Stirling) then first slip road left for M8 Glasgow City Centre, then continue on M8 (Westbound/Glasgow Airport). From M8 (Westbound) exit at Junction 30, Erskine Bridge, following road signed Bishopton/Erskine.
Take a left at first roundabout signed Bishopton, continue past HP on right, going straight over the mini roundabout, past Bishopton parish church on your right (Drumcross Road on your left).

Take next immediate right at Gatehouse and follow road straight into Mar Hall.
