Wordsworth Suite
The Wordsworth Suite marries extravagantly tasteful design with those essential modern touches.
The room is adorned with antique furniture including a seven-foot antique oak bed. To continue the opulent theme there are two leather sofa chairs facing the floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows which give unrivalled vistas of Windermere and the mountains.
As regards the modern touches there is a large plasma screen television with a DVD player, air conditioning, a splendid roll-top bath and a double walk-in shower.
The luxury continues outside, where your private garden area offers superb views over the lake, an attractive seating area and a relaxing hot tub.
Throughout, fresh flowers, mineral water, bath robes and other thoughtful touches make your stay a joy..

Named after the local slate, Burlington's is not just a hotel restaurant, it’s a destination in its own right. The head chef Lukasz specialises in French and English cuisine and uses only the finest, freshest local produce and ingredients.

If you can put the fabulous views over Windermere to one side for a moment, the undoubted jewel in the crown is Burlington’s Restaurant. Highly regarded by local people, and fondly remembered by all who have dined there, Burlington’s Restaurant offers a culinary experience you won’t forget.

A choice of two, three or five-course selections are available from the menu.
