The lochside Stonefield Castle Hotel in Tarbert has been totally refurbished in a beautiful spot

Pamela Low, Reservations & Web Updates

Stonefield Castle Hotel in Tarbert was built in 1837 and stands high on the famous Kintyre peninsula commanding quite spectacular panoramic views over Loch Fyne. There can be no more a breath-taking sight than the mist lifting off the water to mark the dawning of a new day. Situated above Loch Fyne, just 2 miles form the picturesque fishing village of Tarbert, the castle was once the family home of the Campbell's.

Stonefield Castle is set in over 50 acres of gardens and woodland and home to many rare plants and rhododendrons. There are nice leisurely strolls throughout the gardens with views of the loch.

In keeping with its unique situation and character, many original period furnishings have been retained to complement the timeless ambience that is Stonefield Castle.

Stonefield Castle Hotel's AA Rosette award winning restaurant will allow you the opportunity to sample the best of all that is Scottish with locally sourced ingredients. Our extensive selection of fine wines are available to complement your meal.

The Stonefield Castle Hotel, Tarbert offers great late deals and special offers on short breaks throughout the year.
