Housed within one of Winchester's most important Georgian buildings dating back to 1715 are 24 timelessly styled bedrooms and stunning suites. Each of the hotel rooms in Winchester has been thoughtfully converted to retain the wonderful building's unique character and opulent features.

Choose from standard, deluxe and suite rooms, all featuring luxurious hand-sprung mattresses, fine Egyptian linen, deep baths and powerful drench showers, plasma TVs and air conditioning.

In the beautiful Winchester Bistro Du Vin, experience an elegant and informal setting for lunch and dinner where you can meet, celebrate or spend a leisurely afternoon or evening.

The Bistro Du Vin focuses on offering great food made with great ingredients, inspired by French home-style cooking with robust, earthy dishes and slow-cooked foods all beautifully presented. 

The attentive waiting staff at The bistro and restaurant are all exceptionally knowledgeable and happy to explain the dishes, the ingredients and how our talented Chefs put them together. Always on hand, the Sommelier is also ready to advise, guide, match or recommend the perfect wine.

Surrounded by natural daylight, reclaimed dark-stained floorboards, restored fireplaces, framed pictures and paintings and comfortable chairs, it is the ideal place to wine and dine.

BY ROAD

FROM LONDON AND SOUTHAMPTON / BOURNEMOUTH
Take junction 9 off the M3, following signs to Winall industrial estate. Take the first exit off the motorway roundabout, then 2nd exit at the Tesco roundabout. Follow the road down, going over two small bridges, until you come to the one-way system opposite the fire station. Turn left onto the main road, then immediately move into the right hand lane. Follow the one-way system round to the right, moving into the left-hand lane when you see the Brookes Shopping Centre. Follow a one-way system around and up the hill, splitting left at the top traffic lights.

At the next lights take a left onto Southgate Street. The hotel is 100 yards on the right-hand side. The entrance to the car park is just before the hotel. For parking please approach the barrier which will rise and go through to park.

TAKING THE A34
Follow the A34 to its end and the roundabout at Winnal Industrial Estate, then follow the directions above.
