Budget hotel now quite old fashioned but probably once quite an up market hotel. Comfy beds and quiet. We were at the 4th(top) floor. Friendly staff. Very convenient location. Parking rather restricted. Lift very small. Our tv was also very tiny. But overall, it is quite adequate and good value.

We had a pleasant stay! The staff are lovely & very helpful! Very good hot buffet breakfast. Set up very well for the older traveller, with a stair lift into the restaurant.

The Hotel itself needs some TLC, but the room was spotless and the bed comfortable, tea and coffee in room, but no fridge. The shower cubicle was small, was easy to operate and a grab rail in shower. There are lifts but the one in the reception is very slow, but you can sit on the sofa while waiting for its arrival!! The breakfast was very good with everything you could want for you to help yourself, the breakfast staff were very helpful and friendly, especially the guy on breakfast duty. There is a carpark, but it's first come first served. There is parking nearby, you can drop off luggage and anyone who is disabled outside the Hotel. The Hotel is on the level to town and a short walk to the Landmark Theatre.

Solid 3 star accommodation, close to the local amenities & attractions.. Very good value for money.. Rooms are very hot in the summer months.. Parking in Ilfracombe over the summer is very pricey, so I would recommend booking a spot in the hotel carpark

Hotel in the process of decoration / modernisation. Our room was great, with a front facing bay window view. Lots of space, clean and very comfortable. Refurbished communal areas. Service and staff were excellent, as was the food. Top notch, home made and beautifully presented. Great location on the main road to the pretty harbour, just 10 minutes walk away. We would stay there again.

Location of the hotel is good, being a short walk to the beach/ harbour. No on-site parking, but on road parking was available, but would wonder how that would go in peak season. Room was spacious and facilities not luxurious, but adequate. As was the hotel itself. Food was again, not gourmet, but of ok quality. The service was a little hit and miss depending on who served you. Excellent service at breakfast, but sadly not great at evening meal. The oective from the beginning was obviously to get you out as quickly as possible. We were not offered a drink upon arrival and when our starters arrived and we asked if we could order a bottle of wine, we were told we needed to purchase from the bar. This was on a completely different floor, so I had to leave my starter, to go cold, to go and purchase from the bar. If this was explained upon arrival, we could have purchased before our food arrived, but we were told ‘ I thought you already knew’??? Despite dinner service being until 7.30 and we arrived at 7.20, we were too late to order off the main menu?? Overall a pleasant stay, but not anything to write home about.
