Hotel was adequate for 2 nights, staff helpful and attentive, however don't feel I could recommend this hotel to others.

Lovely hotel with great history. Our Room was on the first floor and looked like it had been recently decorated. Very disappointed with the evening meals served. The food wasn’t freshly made to be polite. I think your executive head chef needs to look at what is being served in what is a beautiful hotel.

We enjoyed our time at the Highland hotel in Strathpeffer , the staff were professional , very accommodating. We had a big Room with an excellent view over the village . The Hotel looks like something out of the Shining , but in a good way. Amazing staff, Great location , what's not to like .

Beautiful hotel but needing some external maintenance. Unfortunately was understaffed at breakfast time-the young boys who were on were doing their best but simply not enough staff to cope with the dozens of diners

Lovely Victoria spa hotel. Very clean with good service. Bedroom had been recently modernised, plain and simple furnishings. Shower hose leaked very badly flooding the floor and shower head could not be adjusted properly, but, again very clean. Dinner consisted of mostly frozen food. Do not expect fine dining here. Overall, yes, I would return but go out for meals.

Really nice place, pleasant staff and nice food. Well stocked and clean bar and reasonable priced. Breakfast and dinner was very good and plentiful. The rooms were very clean.

My wife and I stayed 24/28 February at the Highland. Another wonderful break at this location. The staff from reception, room service, restaurant and bar could not be more hospitable and professional if they tried. Anything to help. The menu for the evening was superb and the buffet breakfast sufficed to all expectations. This hotel is the hub of a wonderful location for the Highlands, East & West coasts.
