Stayed here for one night recently, the room was lovely. Couple of damaged bits in the room, wallpaper hanging off etc but nothing massively annoying. There was no air con in the room though, if it was it didn’t work properly as the heat was overpowering! My partner and I woke up multiple times in the night with headaches due to the heat. Room was lovely and clean and smelt fresh, I would stay again but ask for air con room.

Great location. Walkable from train station and Sophia Gardens (where we were visiting). Close to the shops and restaurants, but not too noisy. Covid measures great. Lovely breakfast.

We had a comfortable bed and clean big king deluxe room with a view of the castle. The breakfast was a good set up and had a good options of hot and cold foods. A nice selection of teas and coffees. It was located centrally.

Room spacious, lighting not so great in the main area if wanting to do hair and makeup. One of the lifts was constantly broke and I felt I spent most of my time waiting for the other lift which was constantly busy and the slowest lift ever

Lovely room. Good views. Spa area and pool were great. Staff were nice and brought us up an ice bucket and glasses. Our dog was welcomed in.

I went here with my partner for a one night stay. Overall we were happy with our experience and would recommend this hotel. I thought that the hotel itself was well located, being next door to Cardiff Castle and one of the main high streets of Cardiff. Thanks to Manuel and the other staff for a good stay!
