Hotel very nice on entering Staff very friendly checkin okay. Room looking out onto Clifford's Tower which was very nice tea facilities also good. Bathroom a bit dated toilet system running but my husband sorted it out. Had a drink in the bar before going out which was very nice. Breakfast was really good loads to choose from. On checking out we mentioned the toilet system but the guy on reception didn't really seemed bothered so it will be there for the next person who has the room. Will stay again as in the middle of the city easy to get to everything.

Very convenient for visiting the City of York, very clean and very comfortable. Underground parking by concierge. Easy walking distance to The Shambles, Jorvik, The Castle Museum and York Minster, in fact all the main sites of interest. Extremely comfortable rooms and a good breakfast is available. Evening menu though is rather limited.

Second time at this hotel. We had a problem with the room we were allocated - noise from air conditioning units somewhere outside the room was horrendous. However we were immediately offered another room and it was sorted to our satisfaction in 10 minutes. They also checked the next day with us to make sure everything was ok. Great service in our opinion. We will be back as it is a good hotel in a good location.

The hotel accommodation in central York is excellent but there is no real alternative to the valet parking which is pricy at £25 for 1 night. However it is convenient and the service is excellent. The breakfast buffet is excellent and you can eat to your heart's content.

Breakfast choices are excellent, staff are very helpful and accommodating.. The room is a bit small for a family room but clean and the bed was comfortable.

Perfectly located in the city centre, making it very easy to navigate your way about York. There is also a handy car park across from it, though the hotel does offer a valet service. The staff on the front desk were very welcoming and extremely helpful on check in. I also have to say housekeeping were excellent!! The room itself was a little small and dated, however functional and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again if we came back to York.

We have just returned from a stay at the hotel for my hen weekend and absolutely had an amazing time. The hotel is an ideal location very close to the centre and all amenities. The staff were extremely helpful nothing was a problem at all. The manager in the restaurant was so welcoming and friendly and made us feel at home. Breakfast was beautiful everything from continental through to a full English. Defiantly be returning.
