Beautiful surroundings. Amazing stay in a great location with so many lovely walks. In the evening we sat by the fire enjoying a glass of wine. Lovely meal. Room was beautifully quirky with a view of the river. Staff couldn't have tried harder to ensure we had a lovely time.

Beautiful location. Lovely, clean, comfortable 'quirky ' room in the old house with fantastic views. Nice food available in the restaurant.

Wonderful stay, stunning views and we were very lucky that they’d looked at our party size so given us a fabulous family room which was a real treat. Hotel was beautiful, location great on the river’s edge and food also very tasty / well presented. We’ll highly recommend, my son wants to return already.

It is a historic building in a historic location. The room and hotel matched our expectations. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. No complaints about the food, which was great. Good whisky as well.

The room was and hotel are obviously very old but the decor has been kept up together and was very presentable. The view and position of the hotel is wonderful. Breakfast in the morning was very enjoyable although the full breakfast was small.

My stay at Master Builders hotel was amazing! Ive requested a particular room with a view and my request has been met. The staff was extremely nice! They introduced a new menu when I was there and everything was delicious (I had tuna carpaccio and trout). I liked the area as well. I’ve visited Maritime museum which is next to the hotel and it was great too! The hotel interiors are very authentic. I would love to come there again.
