Has all the essential and great location. Breakfast was great. Reception and service is good. Warm cookies were perfect for check-in! Bed and pillows are very comfortable.

The location. close too Tube restaurants and a number of Londons iconic attractions. The staff were very accommodating and upgraded us to executive lounge as we were celebrating a Birthday milestone. Lovely garden area to rear with covered/ open furniture.

· Breakfast was very good but not a huge selection in comparison to other hotels (fry, fruit, yoghurts, cereals and pastries). Location was superb. Literally two to three tube stops to shopping district, theatres and open top bus tour leaves from tube station outside. Fast food, Tesco and Waitrose all immediately outside. Staff are unbelievable! Extremely friendly and cannot do enough for you. Very attentive. Will be my new hotel of choice when visiting with family and for work.

We found it hard to pick a location for a 4-day stay in London but chose this DoubleTree based on its close proximity to the Natural History Museum (AMAZING) and the Gloucester Road tube station. The staff were all very welcoming (particularly the breakfast restaurant team) and the family room was kept really clean. The highlight of our entire trip to London for my kids was the pancake machine at breakfast! Overall, it exceeded our expectations and worked well for us as a base.

I was expecting a very generic experience in this hotel as it is a chain but we had a really enjoyable experience due to the personal service, there were a few hiccups as the AC was brokenn on an unseasonably hot weekend, and we were double charged on a bar bill on check out but the Duty Manager Arnau dealt with it most professionally and exceeded expectations. The breakfast is beyond epic and this property is now my go to for a city break in our Capital.

4 of us stayed here for a girls weekend last week and I just want to give Minting a massive shout out for being so kind and helpful. We checked into our room and it was a double double, all fine but i felt we may a little bit more space so Minting found us another room with an extra bed without any issue at all. Abdul, the porter was also amazing and couldnt do enough to help. I must say that all the staff were really lovely and welcoming, breakfast was great and the location was perfect - we could walk to Kensington Gardens, lots of places to eat around the area and the tube was very close. Thanks again Doubletree, we had a fantastic stay!
