I needed to book a hotel close by to a location for my photography. I also wanted to pay via PayPal, and although the hotel directly didn’t offer this, a third party website did. Initially I entered the wrong car park, but it did display a sign with the direct post code and found it quite quickly. The hotel, just a walk across the pedestrian crossing. I was greeted by a very friendly and happy young man. Courteous and conversational. I remarked to him that he is rather cheery; comparing to experiences elsewhere, though I should have waited before assuming an opinion. He directed me to my room and booked my breakfast meal. And directed me to the bar to book my evening meal. I got to my room and was astonished. The words I describe it would be “modern rustic”. Very good wooden furniture, leather handles but all very modern. I had the typically tea making facilities and ironing facilities. A mini fridge and safe were present without any additional costs. Everything was very clean, easy to find and spacious. And when I say clean, I mean no dust from a finger wipe on any surface. The bathroom was immaculate and well presented with the mini bottles of body wash etc. They also had a mini shop in reception in case you forgot any essentials. I was already impressed. I came down for my evening meal, and the gentleman at the bar was very courteous and very polite. I was seated with a drink I ordered, and handed a menu. The menu may seem limited to some. I love food and I cook food, but I will always choose quality over quantity. I was informed that everything is fresh and not frozen (unless ordered for a large event). I ordered the halloumi popcorn (accompanied with a tomato pickle and dressing) as a starter, and the sea bass for the main (with a potato salad). I was informed the whole sea bass was out of stock, but they had fresh sea bass fillets. I didn’t see this as an issue and thus opted for this. The prices reflect the quality and freshness of the food; prices I was happy to pay. All tables were clean and ready for diners. Even the paper napkins were of high quality. My starter arrived promptly and the young lady was very polite and presentable, and presented the starter with etiquette. The halloumi popcorn was cooked to perfection. The taste of the pickle and dressing complimented each other. The halloumi popcorn arrived, well presented. Three words to describe: light, delicious, tasty. I was already looking forward to my main. It was a comfortable wait before my main arrived. Again, beautifully presented. The sea bass tasted amazing. The hint of lemon just coming through, not over powering, just enough. The potato salad also flavoursome as are the vegetables. All complimenting each other. The young waitress tended to me and provided me with a dessert menu. I opted for The flavours are different each week which keeps the menu refreshed and not mundane. I had their amazing Sundae, brownie, crunchier and chocolate ice cream oozing with sweetness and flavour. A fine ending to a fine meal. Breakfast was just as amazing as dinner. A great selection of food, again, quality and cooked perfectly. My entire stay was amazing. I truly felt like the red carpet, metaphorically, was rolled out for my one night stay. My assumptions were wrong, and my expectations way below the mark. A hotel stay for one night, fit for a King or Queen

I am a blind guide dog user and this hotel was totally accessible throughout. Just back from a few days spent staying in The Hilton Gardens Hanley. I cannot stress how wonderful and helpful the staff are, nothing was too much trouble. Fully accessible throughout and Tillie was welcomed everywhere. She has had an amazing time. Big spending area to the front for grass or concrete preferences. Plenty of bins for deposits. Help with luggage on arrival and departure. Lifts very spacious with Braille and tactile numbers. Gym also fully accessible with fully accessible laundry room. Definitely will return again. For anyone who wants to visit Trentham gardens and village, Monkey Forest Trentham, Alton Towers, Various museums throughout, (Regent Theatre, Victoria Hall and Hanley bus station which are all within walking distance from hotel) I fully recommend ?. Everywhere was lovely and clean

I recently visited Hilton Garden Inn whilst on a family trip to the local area. The hotel is really well situated within a convenient drive to Alton Towers. The hotel staff were really friendly and welcoming and nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff there. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean in both the public areas and the rooms. Very rarely do I visit a hotel these days and leave thinking that I could not fault the cleanliness anywhere. Rooms are really modern with big comfy beds and chez long. Good size bathrooms (we had two rooms interconnecting, one had a bath and shower and one just a shower) perfect for a family. Both rooms really new and fresh and not damaged at all. The hotel was in much better condition and more modern than I expected. The value/price was really good considering the quality of hotel you are getting. The Bar is situated next to the restaurant and although I did not have a drink it looked to be a well stocked bar with plenty of variety of spirits and beer on tap. Very modern looking bar (in keeping with the rest of the hotel). Breakfast was excellent with a self service breakfast offering. They even had make your own waffles with toppings for the kids which is a nice addition to the general hotel breakfasts these days. All in all a really quiet (you can't hear any road or internal noise), modern, clean and well managed hotel that ticks every box that I want in a hotel. I would definitely revisit when in the area and recommend to anybody who needs to be anywhere near Stoke

My grandson was so pleased with the beds that he declared he slept like a baby and did not want to get up My son in law was also pleased with his acoomodation that he didn't want to go home and is planning on coming back to spend more time My niece enjoyed the bedding so much and isn't pleased that she forgot to check the manufacturer I was pleased the hotel is positioned centrally within walking /driving distance of the city centre. Good choice of breakfast. Next time l will book a table early for the restaurant.
