Great location, good on site parking facility. Easy walking access into nearby shops and town centre. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Room extremely clean. Good breakfast selection. Have stayed here several times and will definitely go back.

Lovely welcome, staff were great throughout our stay - even kept their cool on a busy morning 3 staff down. Great location just on edge of shopping area. Clean and comfortable room - cleaned on request. Good choice at breakfast and good evening meal there one night

room was sorted for us when arrived although ours was not ready given another room 327 preferred room with larger windows let more air in was little stuffy . Breakfast good service overall excellent. have stayed before thats why we came back to same hotel also in great position for the centre.

The rooms are good but only double beds in a standard room which are a little small for 2022 standards. The rooms are well provided in terms of seating, storage and bathroom etc. The staff are excellent and go out of their way to make you welcome and ensure everything is in order. The location is great with a 10 minutes stroll into town. Car parking on site is good

We'd been to the area several times before, but his was our first time at the Doubletree. Very impressed overall, and good value. The building is modern and clean, though the decor could perhaps be brighter and fresher. Staff are friendly and responsive, but it would be better still if they were more numerous. Plenty of car parking on site (free for guests) and an easy 8-10 minutes walk to the town centre. Bedrooms were comfortable, and the location is quiet. Buffet-style breakfast is good, and we enjoyed it on each day of our stay. We had dinner once - it was just ok, and the dining room lacks ambience. The lifts must be due for an upgrade soon. Those small things apart, we enjoyed our stay and would consider returning

Enjoyed a nights stay here recently. Our room unfortunately smelled funny however they happily allowed us to move rooms without any bother. Our new room was great- nice and spacious and very clean. I also like that you can use the app for your room key and check in/out this way- made everything so seamless. The breakfast was very nice and everything was cooked well. The location is perfect- less than 10 minutes to be in the center. For the price it is definitely worth it. A lot of other places we looked at were much more pricey
