Situated near a retail park, close to supermarkes and shops. A short (20 mins) walk to the town centre. Very friendly and efficient check in. Room very functional with decent WiFi, a large room safe, good heating and powerful shower. Breakfast was varied, but average quality hot food. I waited so long at the bar to be served, I didn't bother and went up the road for a drink

If the staff had not been so lovely, my review would be very different. On reception Jamie & Dorota, always greeted us with a smile, assisted us in many ways giving us info on visiting Abingdon and Ellie also on reception, but unfortunately off sick whilst we were here, so helpful when we were arranging our booking by telephone again giving us advice on lots of things . The lovely Fiu Vikatoria who looked after our room requirements, always able to supply things that needed to be stocked up on! The restaurant staff always smiling, however much they were running around. Free parking which is rare nowadays and also we had free WiFi which was useful. Food in restaurant a little hit and miss, some great things, some not so great . Do wish they would cover the pastries at breakfast though, they looked yummy but did not have one due to the unusual cirstances we all live in now. Did miss not having complimentary water in room fridge, apparently we were not entitled to it.

Absolutely amazing customer service. Delicious food. Super friendly staff! One of the receptionist - Dorota - helped me out when checking in. She remain calm in a busy situation, I'm impressed, always smiling when walking by, for sure that's something I will remember as a warm welcome and definitely will be back! Food great, service nice and friendly staff can't remember them all as they were running in busy times, but thanks guys for your hard work. Rooms clean and tidy thanks to the ladies who cleaned it

We just needed a bed for the night as we were visiting friends and the hotel was within a mile of where we needed to be. We usually stay at a different hotel but couldn’t get in, I’m actually pleased that they had no vacancies now. Everything was clean and tidy and did meet out expectations. Had it not been for work the following day we would have liked to stay an extra night. We Didn’t have breakfast.
