I have stayed at this hotel many times and it never disappoints me in any way. All the staff are aware of their duties and the service provided is excellent. The food has a varied menu and great selection. This was a Bridge weekend and a brilliant way to meet others.

stay in a lot of hotels around the UK but this was my first time staying in any Hilton hotel. I chose the Doubletree Newbury mainly for location as it was one junction away from where I'm working. What a find it turned out to be. In terms of location for getting back on the M4 daily it was superb. Considering how close it is to the motorway I was surprised by how little traffic noise there was. I had a Queen room, which was very spacious. A decent desk and office style chair in the room if you were working from a hotel room. The bed was very comfortable, the air con was working and the price of room service very reasonable. Couldn't fault breakfast either - so much choice. The shower was super easy to use too and the standard of toiletries exceptional. The hotel's fitness centre is also superb. There is a lot of equipment in the gym and the pool is a decent size. No extra charge for hotel guests either unlike some hotels. The staff were very friendly and happy to talk. I'll definitely be staying here again and would genuinely move in permanently if I could!

Stayed here for 2 nights over the Easter bank holiday weekend. Purely booked this Hotel as it was mid-way between the attractions we had booked for the weekend. Hotel is easily sign posted, so cant go wrong to get to. Entrance to the hotel is clean and welcoming. Parking instructions/charges clearly marked out to see. Check in was OK, the guy was polite enough but didn't inform me of any hotel information, like what time breakfast was served, the leisure facilities etc. Room was a queen room as it was for three, room clean and fresh - only minor fault was we only had cups/glasses for two so had to pop back down to get the extra. Considering the Hotel is on the side of a busy junction/road it is really quiet which was bonus. We had drinks in the bar area both days and would just like to say Hannah was lovely, very welcoming and chatty. We also had breakfast before checking out which was faultless. Two of us used the pool, changing area very small, showers not great at all but pool and sauna a nice little touch for what it is

Everything minus one thing was perfect with our trip to the Doubletree Hilton. The lobby area is a lovely space to socialise, have a coffee and chill out, rooms again basic but lovely, leisure facilities again, great! The only problem that we, as a group of 9 experienced is the mattresses. suffered from crunchy mattresses . Being greeted by Jacob and George both mornings made up for a poor nights sleep as they'd always be there with their charm and humour, they were also so wonderful with my 4 year old nephew. Thank you Jacob and George youre a great asset to the Hilton.

Loved that access to spa facilities were included in the price. I called ahead to check we would get access to the spa, I am glad the information was accurate and we were able to use it. Also, the room was bigger than pictures showed and the check out time was midday so we were able to enjoy a lie in. Honestly, a great last minute decision to come here!

Good location for our trip to Highclere Castle. Room clean, spacious and warm, bed comfortable, good shower, nice toiletries. One duty manager attentive whilst experiencing difficulties, given goodwill gesture of breakfast. Maintenance man very efficient and polite. Paying for parking. Hotel at motorway services highly likely to be accessed by car so no choice but to pay on arrival.
