The location is perfect for seeing a concert and just having a lovely stroll back to the hotel whilst feeling safe to do so. The staff were excellent, the whole hotel was lovely and clean, the hotel hallways were quiet and the view was nice.

Hotel staff were really helpful and friendly. Location was perfect for our trip to the Resort World arena which was only a short walk away from the hotel. Hotel was immaculate and really loved our upgraded room!

Following the recent refurb at this hotel, which was very much needed, all facilities are now fully modernised, and in my opinion, superb. Our room was ultra spacious (no surprises there!), clean and very modern. Well worth every pound paid! All guest areas - the bar, lounge, leisure complex, small cafe and reception are excellent, and all staff are very polite, eager to help and friendly. Just a short walk away from all the NEC has to offer, and only a 30 min walk to the airport, it makes the Metropole the place to stay when seeing a concert or going on holiday. Highly recommended

After reading recent reviews of this hotel, I'll be honest, I was dreading my stay last week for a large convention event. I had nothing to be concerned about! I had a twin room which was one of the refurbished rooms on the first floor. It was comfortable and perfectly clean. Zero issues with . There was no heating or air conditioning but we left the window open the entire weekend and our duvets were enough to keep us warm at night. My room was right next to where it was clear that it was still a building site but we didn't hear anything all weekend. I don't eat dairy and the milk with the tea facilities in the room is semi skimmed. I asked at the bar for an alternative and they were more than happy to provide! It took a while for lifts to arrive but given that I was only on the first floor, I had no issue in just using the stairs.The selection for breakfast was good (though no veggie sausages, perhaps we could have asked but we just made do). It was hot and there was everything from cooked options, to cereal, fruit and continental. The staff were friendly and polite. A thoroughly enjoyable Hilton stay.

The hotel staff very attentive and helpful. The room was clean. Had to ring for more coffee, tea and milk which then took over an 1hr and a half to arrive, and I had to chase it. The only disappointing thing was breakfast, the cooked breakfast was stone cold, I had to ask for it to be microwaved. I did report to restaurant manager on leaving who was very apologetic. Would recommend and would stay again
