newly renovated, beautiful building. Very clean with lovely, well designed room. Staff very friendly and helpful, especially the lady in the breakfast lounge, who didn’t stop! if I were to quibble, the only thing would be no parking on site, as it is always good to be able to see that your vehicle is safe, however, the hotel do offer free parking in local car parks within walking distance which is fab.

There was a sense throughout the hotel, that the staff were in touch with one another and that they were valued and appreciated by their employer. Hotel work is very hard physically, and full of details which have to be right- the old adage that "if one person is sitting down, two others will have to be running round" applies right the way through the hotel. My wife and I were impressed by the warmth and friendliness, and this greatly enhanced our stay in what is a lovely city. The free tour around the city in a vintage Bentley just added to the sense that we were part of something a very special

the room was perfect, nice and spacious the bathroom is beautiful to nice and big with beautifully decorated!! The room was unique in the way it was furnished and decorated was very nice!! Will definitely be back!

travel for my work and stay in many hotels; quite often Hilton branded ones. This one was particularly pleasant. Boutique I guess but certainly big on character. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and in good order, Amie made a superb first impression and went the extra mile to ensure we got parked in one of the hotel car parks. Check-in was slick and the breakfast staff member was really attentive... I'm sorry I didn't get her name. A very welcoming hotel, one I'd highly recommend and a place we'll definitely stay at again. This is a fantastic boutique hotel in a great, central, location in St Albans. It’s close to the middle of the city and the cathedral. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were a great size and clean. I believe the hotel has just had a refurbishment and it looks great. Very comfortable. Reasonable rates too

Great boutique style hotel within a new branch of the Hilton chain. Very friendly staff encountered through out my visit. Well appointed, stylish contemporary rooms with all of the expected amenities. Slightly odd to see store bought mugs from ProCook on the tea tray. My room on floor 1 had a view of a brick wall. This didn’t bother me as I was travelling for work and only in the room for a short period of time but for leisure guests may be more of a concern. Lose one star for parking considerations as noted by previous reviewers. Having followed sat nav and driven past hotel, stumbled across parking by luck and a good sense of direction. Good overall location in relative centre of town. Would recommend and return, particularly now that I know secrets of parking location.
