We have just had a fantastic night in the Slieve Donard Hotel in Newcastle. We had a king size bed sea view room which was excellent. Warm comfortable and excellent staff. I would highly recommend a stay. The breakfast was excellent it had a fantastic choice of continental or full English.

On arrival with an immediate upgrade in the majestic foyer, our stay was going to be nothing short of wonderful The staff were all very friendly, from the Reception desk to the Restaurants, the Spa and the House Keeping Our suite looked out to the rolling waves and the Majestic Mournes The Breakfast choice was amazing, fresh and appetising. We thoroughly enjoyed the Spa which also had views of the mournes We shall return

Good location , lovely fresh clean room .. food and service 1st class Main bar and restaurant areas were drafty and felt cold , main lobby toilets didn’t fit in with the grandeur of the hotel

The food was amazing! I had the beef cheek for dinner and it was exceptional. Staff were very friendly and attentive and our room was very luxurious.

Staff, especially the young staff were fabulous. The junior suite was beautiful and the bed was extremely comfortable
