It would be good to know in advance that if there is a wedding on you cannot access the garden. We were asked to leave even though the sign at the entrance says that it is for the use of guests. Also, you can hear the music in your bedroom until the party ends.

Myself and my Husband visited here tonight for our 43rd wedding anniversary ( we got married here when it was the Burns Monument Hotel). What an amazing venue it is now. From the minute we entered the front door till we left was an outstanding experience. The receptionist gave us a very warm welcome. She also showed us what’s being done to the hotel to make the wedding venue even more stunning than it is already. We were shown to our table in the dining room and served drinks straight away. Every member of staff were first class. Our food was excellent. Can’t recommend this hotel enough. David the Manager stood and blethered away to us as did all of his staff. They were all a credit to RAD. Look forward to our next visit. Many thanks to all staff

Fabulous stay in the Brigadoon Hotel. Adele on reception was very welcoming and efficient. The hotel is full of character and charm. Our room was stunning with a super comfy bed, large tv, fridge, jacuzzi bath and separate shower. Nice touch was the Nespresso coffee machine. The restaurant was small, cosy, homely and Aimee our server was a delight. She was friendly and very passionate about the Brigadoon and other hotels within the group. The service and food were exceptional. We enjoyed the bar, outside terrace and beautiful gardens and grounds overlooking the bridge and river. This was a great overnight stay and treat for my wife’s birthday. Would definitely return.

Very comfortable, quiet, large room including great bathroom with large spa bath - very relaxing. Meals were excellent and reasonably priced, staff were very attentive and service was great. Grounds were beautiful as always
