Many notches higher than the typical UK seaside hotel. Great hotel on the seafront at Paignton. Stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed the ambience. Good food, pleasant room and friendly staff. Clean and well-maintained - no creaking floorboards. Bright and welcoming public areas, nice bar and spacious dining room. A good location to explore the Torbay area and beyond.

Good Seafront Location, Warm welcome on arrival, clean comfortable rooms with a selection of cooked or continental breakfast and evening menu available. Location is across the road from the seafront and free car parking on site.

Excellent Service. All staff we came across were exemplary. Good position opposite the promenade. Nearest proper shops eg newsagent a few streets away. Evening meals very good. Breakfast average. Rooms comfortable but bathrooms need an upgrade as dated and clunky plumbing. Parking a bonus. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic stay - thoroughly recommend it! Full marks all round. We stayed as a group of Friends over a holiday period and the staff were attentive, polite and nothing was too hard for them. The friendliness of them all and the quality of food was "top notch"! Well worth a visit.

My wife and I have stayed at the Palace Hotel in Paignton twice and have been really satisfied with the quality and friendly atmosphere the hotel offers. The staff are exceptional and can not do enough to make your stay a really pleasant experience.

Perfect location,excellent evening meal and breakfast .Housekeeping to a good standard bearing in mind the age of the property.Room was on the second floor had a sea view and accessible via lift.
