The Green House Hotel, Bournemouth

Lovely place for an intimate Bournemouth vacation. I highly recommend eating at the hotel restaurant during your stay. Great location, close to the beach and tourist area but far enough away to feel separated from the commercialism. We really enjoyed the garden, yards, birds.

The room was spacious, the décor was contemporary and stylish. There was a large window with a nice view. The shower was fantastic. The breakfast was very nice, catered for all dietary needs. Good level of choice. The hotel was well situated near the centre of Bournemouth and all amenities but it was calm and peaceful. The TV was a bit small. There was no fridge. Limited teas and no milk in the room.

After receiving an afternoon tea voucher and exploring their website decided not just to have tea but book a two night stay . A beautiful relaxing place to stay. Staff were welcoming ,friendly and attentive. We ate in the restaurant for breakfast which we couldn't fault, we had afternoon tea which all the delights were home-made in their kitchen, The bar area was clean and tidy , welcoming with background music and service prompt and pleasant Our room beautifully decorated with a large double bed , pillows lacked support and have maybe seen better days , a role top bath in the window area , quirky but in a nice way , so relaxing with lots of bubbles . A very clunky, noisy wardrobe doors, and the hallway lights shine under the door can be annoying, maybe dim the lights after midnight. A wedding on the Saturday night didn't disturb too much , A short steepish walk to the beach . Would we stay again -most definitely!!

We stayed here on a last minute basis, where we needed a handily placed hotel to stay over for the night. We were amazed at the luxury room that we were presented with. Probably up there with one of the best we’ve ever stayed in worldwide! Dinner was excellent, as was the service. Staff very attentive and friendly. breakfast was equally good with everything you could possibly think of available to you. They cook from a breakfast menu rather than have a buffet style … quality. Parking plentiful, although this was March! Location perfect, a walk down the hill to the pier within 5 minutes. Will definitely stay again. Top marks!

What a wonderful place! The hotel is located very close to the beach, in a very quiet neighbourhood. the building is lovely, and very well maintained. The room was beautiful, very clean, with very discreet and elegant deco. In terms of food, we only had a snack in the bar, and a breakfast on our last day there, but the food was very tasty, and again, service was superb! The staff were so friendly and helpful. Everyone from receptionist, to bar and restaurant waiters and cleaning staff were just so lovely. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place!
