Everyone was very nice and everything in the hotel is of excellent quality. Food & service couldn’t be faulted. I would have liked a kettle in the room. We had a deluxe room but it was very small. The bed was very comfortable and the whole hotel was exceptionally clean. Value wise, I think it is quite pricey. So highs and lows. Liked the departure gift of water and shortbread.

Having walked away from our calamitous attempt to stay in Dirleton - we were delighted to receive a helpful and hospitable home to rest (my sister and our 2 dogs). The receptionist could not have been more accommodating - and this continued throughout our overnight stay in one of the cottages behind the main hotel. The restaurant was excellent, food scrumptious and staff exceptional. We would thoroughly recommend, and , will stay look to stay again when we visit East Lothian
