Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good quality. Spa and pool excellent. Room and bed very comfortable Good for a short stay in the Lakes.

We have stayed at the Salutation several times and it doesnt disappoint. The location is great and staff are all friendly and very professional. Breakfast and dinner were both very good.

From the moment you book in, you are made to feel special. Rooms are well furnished and spacious, the breakfasts are superb - how lovely to order your main course rather than having to queue and select items that have been on the hot plate for ages. The food in the restaurant is full of flavour and locally sourced and there is a daily change of items from which to choose. In the bar you have a choice of being with others or secluded in a corner and there is a good selection of drinks. Situated in the middle of the town but not dominated by traffic noise etc. We first came on recommendation of friends and have not hesitated to tell others how good the Sallie is!

Highly recommended would definitely come back to this hotel the olive suite was amazing and would highly recommend this to everyone that would stay here
