Glynhill Hotel & Spa, Glasgow

Stayed over on the 18th had to wait 20 Minutes for check in after 3pm as room not ready. Asked at reception how to get to the pool area after checking in directions given but on arrival there was informed that the swimming pool was out of action unfortunately no notification given about this when I received my confirmation when booked bit disappointing.

During my break away everything started out great but this soon turned sour. The room we were given was difficult to get to with a pram due to having multiple stairs and I would not say it was acceptable to young family’s. The noise was unbearable. The hotel was housing a sports team of around 100 girls and they were running and screaming till the early hours of the morning. I did put a complaint in around 11pm to be advised they would have words with the guests but nothing happened. I then complained in the morning as the girls were running around shouting about 5 am in the morning but I was just advised they would talk to the coaches. This did not benefit me as I was leaving this day. Multiple other guests were complaining too. After complaining to the manager I was advised I would be able to have a half price stay at the hotel but after the stay I had I did not feel this was acceptable as I would not want to stay here again.

This stay was given as a gift. Staff on the whole was excellent but surprised to see breakfast staff leaning against a wall while guests walked in without giving their room number while we were asked for ours. Did not look professional.

Rooms are very outdated, no usb plug, tv is the smallest iv ever seen in a hotel and I had to adjust the aerial several times to get a half decent non jumping picture, grout in the bathroom was black and yucky! The wood in the bathroom was very worn looking, table in the bedroom was dirty, couldn’t actually see out the windows to anything as they were thick with dirt, changing area in the spa was smelly like a dirty mop had been used, although the actual pool was completely fine, food was great slight error as we charged for dinner again and we are still waiting on the refund 4 days later, will contact them on the 5th day if we haven’t received it back yet. Breakfast food was lovely without the glasses for juice smelt like they had been washing in dirty stale water or had been dried with a dirty towel so couldn’t drink out of them from the smell. Such a shame

The staff at the Glynhill were excellent, the meal at the cabaret night was served with military precision, in fact , from check in through to check out we enjoyed the highest standards of service, we will certainly return to the Glynhill Hotel.

Nice hotel. Not told on arrival when dinner or breakfast was. No info in room either re pool opening times or checkout. Not enough staff on bar for party night.

my friend and i had the most brilliant night from start to finish ... room was lovely the entertainment was brilliant but most o the food was fabulous the dinner was warm great portion size and very tasty the breakfast was fab so much selection .. the staff were very helpful and lovely cannot fault anything at all .

This was our first time back since Covid it didn’t disappoint us staff and super friendly and helpful they upgraded us to a club king room it was stunning the food in the restaurant was amazing breakfast was brilliant definitely return

Had a great night for a fab price. Sraff from arriving to leaving extremely friendly and efficient. Dinner and breakfast were lovely. Room had everything you need. Bed bit small. Mirror at dressing table would be good.

Modern rooms, large comfortable bed and very comfy pillows, big car park, friendly staff, great food, separate bar menu with sliders ? that’s just amazing, decent swimming pool, gym isn’t big but enough to do your daily routine, I can’t find any faulty really.

Came for an overnight with my partner for his birthday couldn't fault anything, this is our 5th time staying at the hotel and always seem to come back its always so trusty. Tried the spa for the first time and was excellent as well! Hats off to the restaurant food was amazing and a special thank you to Lewis and Emily our waiters who wished my partner a happy birthday and gifted us complimentary drinks! Would highly recommend the hotel, staff are always lovely. Again I will definitely be back

I loved the gym and spa, breakfast was fabulous. The staff were lovely and one bus, took us straight to Glasgow city. Overall we had a great time. I enjoyed my breakfest, but I would have enjoyed a bigger selection of fresh fruit.

Overall we had a great stay, staff were all very pleasant and both dinner and breakfast were excellent! The room was smaller than we thought, but for one night it was fine. Check-in was a bit of a mix up as they didn’t have our voucher details and had the booking for one person on B&B only; apart from that all good.

Nice exterior, lovely restaurant with nice food, service OK but staff not very attentive, sat for about 25 minutes after finishing main meal and wasn't asked if we wanted a desert so we just left. Main areas very well decorated. Room looked a bit tired and the bed was so uncomfortable I was awake most of the night and up and about at 7am because I couldn't lie in it, bucket chairs in the room also uncomfortable and very small.. bathroom made up for the bedroom, lovely toiletries and bath was a bonus. Lovely breakfast, plenty to choose from, no complaints
