A gift for my son and daughter. The booking through myhotelbreak.com was simple and good value. I needed to change the date which was promptly and courteously done by a member of their team for a very minimal fee. The hotel stay itself was excellent. The location was perfect , just on the beach, Rooms spacious and well maintained. Perfect for their dog. Food and staff were excellent too. I had made the website and hotel aware that this was a special trip. A lasting memory for my family and their terminally ill dog. This was to be his last trip to his favourite place, the beach. They acknowledged this with respect and made their stay comfortable and special. Thank you to all.

Had an amazing time celebrating my partners birthday and an engagement , all staff made us feel at home and special we got an upgraded room which was amazing , complimentry drinks to celebrate our special occasion and the spa was very lovely , all staff were very helpful and friendly will definitely be back

The hotel is stunning, with amazing views and accommodation. The leisure facilities were first class. The big disappointment was the service in the restaurant, both for evening meal and breakfast. The staff were inexperienced and require guidance in customer service and initiative. We were booked on DBB package, but were given the wrong menu, had to ask for a wine list, had to catch waiting staff in passing to ensure we could order and so it went on - over 2 hours for dinner. Breakfast was no different This experience will make us think twice before using the hotel again.

Had the best 2 nights away at this lovely hotel. Has a great spa to use and we had a couples massage which was amazing (Sheryl was my masseuse and it was the best ever). We also had 2 great meals in the bar restaurant.

It was an absolute delight to stay here. It was a double celebration for our birthdays. Decor was outstanding, room very well presented. Food was amazing and staff very helpful and knowledgeable.

The hotel was beautiful, gorgeous refurb and lovely Christmas decorations. Dinner in The Lawn was delicious, breakfast less so. Very mediocre, service no where near 5 star, staff bit hap hazard, couldn't answer queries or deal with resolving issues efficiently or satisfactory. That said I would still recommend a stay at the hotel and will also be trying the Marine in Troon too sometime.

My husband and I had a lovely three night break at the marine north Berwick. Would highly recommend this hotel. From our check in to being taken to our comfortable room with lovely views over golf course and beach to very helpful and friendly staff it was all great. Food in restaurant very good and a special mention to Megan who was there in the evening and couldn’t have done enough for us. If I was to find fault with anything thought the menu could have had a bit more choice as we were there for three nights it was the same menu every night and actually ended up on the third night choosing something from bar menu. Other than that could not fault anything. Would certainly return and recommend to friends.

Room itself was excellent but fridge was very noisy during the night as it switched itself on and off. There was also a strong smell of cleaning fluids outside our room as a store cupboard door was not closed properly. Staff at reception and in restaurant were very attentive and pleasant. There was not an extensive set of choices on the set dinner menu which was disappointing. Swimming pool and spa area were excellent.

A great hotel overlooking an iconic golf course in the heart of East Lothian. Superb. It was a real treat. I stayed with my son and we have a most memorable weekend. Access to/from the train was easy, staff was great. We'll be back

Staff were very helpful. We had good food in the BassRock bar and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our dog was made to feel very welcome and when a ceiling lightbulb needed changing the Facilities Manager changed it immediately

Afternoon tea with a view was excellent. They catered for my dietary requirement. Bar was great. I’ve requested a tail that wasn’t in the menu and they made it for me. I love the steam room and the outdoor- indoor hydropool. Overall, the hotel ambience was outstanding and the views were gorgeous.

Beautiful hotel with large comfortable rooms with fantastic decoration. Public rooms were very inviting and again excellent furnishing and decoration. Food in the restaurant for evening meal and breakfast was excellent and reasonably priced. Beautiful vues over the Firth of Forth and golf course. North Berwick is a beautiful small town with lots of attractions in its surrounding area. Finally, staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating.
