My husband and I stayed one night for our anniversary, room was dated but did have new furniture added absolutely no complaints, clean towels and bedding. Food was amazing and staff friendly cannot fault it at all. Overall 8/10. I'd definitely recommend it and would stay again.

We stayed for one night with our small dog on a DBB deal. We couldn’t fault anything with this great hotel. Location is fantastic and room was clean and comfortable. The 3 course meal was absolutely delicious and the breakfast was superb. Staff were very friendly and helpful would definitely recommend and we will be back ??????????

Had a standard twin room for one night, room and bathroom clean. The mattresses on the beds were well past their best though, springs were digging in through the night and they squeaked when moving in the bed. It was too much hassle to ask to be moved for just one night. Food was decent and plentiful and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel in a good location, you can easily walk to the falls of Dochart. We were lucky with the weather and sat outside for a drink overlooking the river. The room had a nice view but because the window was steamed up inside the double glazing we couldn’t really see it! Frustrating! The room was very small and the bathroom tiny! If we had been on the larger side we would’ve struggled to get in! My partner’s knees touched the wall while sitting on the loo!! Room was in the attic space and was very warm. Food was very good although we had to point out we were on a dinner, bed and breakfast deal and got given a different menu, a bit embarrassing and I think the staff should be made aware of this beforehand. On the whole we would go back but maybe not a room in the attic.

The hotel was nice but my room was not very clean there was a huge clump of hair stuck on the wall in the shower. The floor tiles were sticking up and dangerous. The only good thing was the food. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stayed overnight on my birthday on DBB deal with my husband. My daughter asked if we could have a room upgrade, and we had a lovely surprise to find ourselves in a four poster room with prosecco and chocolates. Room was comfy, clean and a good size. The dinner was from the Al a carte menu and was delicious with very large portions. Angel on reception was very friendly. All in all we had a lovely break away at the Killin Hotel.

Stayed here many times before but I'm sad to say this time I found the hotel lacking in certain things. There was a musty smell from the bedding in our room, especially the pillows and it didn't look too clean. I had to spray perfume on them. Only one bedside lamp. WiFi was terrible. Food was ok. Breakfast was a buffet help yourself style and I'm not a big fan of this as the food is never piping hot. On the positive side the staff were very friendly and helpful.

I have been to killin a few times but first time staying and eating in this hotel. The corridors were roasting could do with turning down radiators as no need to heat an empty corridor expecially climbing stairs. We had a nice stay and dinner was lovely but really disappointed in the breakfast. We went down for breakfast to be seated and told it was buffet style when we platted what was meant to be hot buffet but it was very cold i hardly touched it and opted for continental breakfast instead. I happened to look at menu on another table to be asked if I wanted anything from which I didn't understand as it was just the same what was out but it would of been cooked fresh to order .. If I knew this I would have chosen this option instead, I was very confused of the set up as I believe there would have been a lot of waste on the day and could of saved cost by cooking breakfast as and when required. I would stay again for sure but know come breakfast to stay clear of buffet style and order off menu so I knew my food would be served hot.

Overnight stay to meet up with friends. Have stayed a few times over the years and can see the new owners are trying to make improvements. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming and the dinner was lovely. We had a room with a view which was gorgeous, could benefit from a new mattress on the bed as felt every spring. Biggest disappointment was the bar closing at 10pm and not being pre-warned of this on arrival as we had brought our friends over to the hotel for drinks.

Fantastic one night stay. This was our second time here. The staff were absolutely fantastic, they were all extremely helpful and made the stay brilliant. The room was really clean and very comfortable. We had breakfast and dinner whilst here and have to say the meals were lovely. They even catered for my dog and he loved it too. Many thanks for making our short stay so good. Will be back again.

My husband and I stayed for two nights end of March 2022. While the hotel is somewhat ‘tired’, our room and bathroom was clean and the bed very comfortable. We had booked a double room and were happy to be allocated a larger room which sleeps 4. Towels were fluffy and complimentary toiletries were provided which was a nice touch, along with coffee tea and biscuit tray. Staff, from reception to the serving of food and bar drinks, were all friendly and helpful. Due to covid there is a system where you order and pay for your food and drinks via the Internet while dining in the restaurant or drinking at the outside area or in the bar (although staff were happy to help those struggling with the technology and take manual orders). We ate in the restaurant on both evenings and the food was tasty and delivered quickly. Breakfast was buffet style along with a choice of individual cooked items from a menu and you could help yourself to tea or coffee to suit yourself. The view from the restaurant and the outside seating area is spectacular and the hotel sits on the banks of the river, with plenty to see, including wildlife and small boats going back and forth. We paid very little for our two night stay of B&B, so it was extremely good value for money (we booked way back in October 2021, in the hope that covid restrictions would be lifted by March). This was our second stay at the Killin Hotel and we will be back to enjoy the hospitality and the beautiful area soon hopefully.

Lovely clean rooms and receptionist when booked in was very chatty and informative. Food was really good .... service was quick... Down side I asked for a jug of water with my meal along with bottle of red wine.. 2 glasses with ice 2 wine glasses and red wine served in a cooler with ice ...no water ..asked 3 times for water but still not got it... When you order food online you pay a tip as well ..we gave 20% tip on all the bill ..won't do that next time ..didn't deserve a tip ... Front door gets locked at night and guests are asked if they are going to come in late to request the code to open door...obviously some people didn't get the memo as the front door got hammered down from 11.30 till about 12.45... hotel explained that it could have been non residents

We have stayed at the Killin Hotel on many occasions. We really enjoyed our overnight stay and found the staff very friendly, especially lady on reception and waiter in the dining room who helped us order our food and drinks on the app. The room was clean and tidy and the food was lovely. I would recommend the Killin Hotel to anyone.

Friendly and welcoming. Comfortable but basic accommodation. The electronic ordering system doesn’t seem very popular, effective or reliable. Although in theory it is meant to save time, it just seems to cause frustration. Food quality was good and staff very helpful. Great location.

very pleasant stay only one night but very pleased with service and evening meal. My main concern was the total failure of hotel in implement any Covid procedures. People walking around bar and dinning rooms without masks. No distancing observed ,noticed in previous comments similar observation from previous guests. As this is the case what is point of reviews as obviously hotel ignores them ,pity because so much is good about this hotel.

My husband and I had a great time staying at the Killin hotel. We have stayed here many times over the years. The staff and service are faultless. Thank you for that. The only criticism I have is the shower room within Rm19 which needed upgrading, it appeared neglected, mouldy tiles and damp odour. I am aware refurb of the hotel is an ongoing plan. The room and bed itself was very good and we very much enjoyed our stay. It gave us the opportunity of visiting the birks of Aberfeldy which is a must see. Loved it
