The location of the hotel was fantastic however the hotel was very dated because of the hotels availability we received an upgrade on arrival in a dog friendly room. So we expected a higher standard this was not the case there was an excessive amount of dog hair on the carpet.as we are owners of a small dog that doesnt moult this was very dissapointing .on the plus side the breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly

We enjoyed our stay here and was pleasantly surprised considering the price paid. We ate at the bar and food was lovely but really disappointed in breakfast, buffet style which had been out for obviously a while and was lukewarm and virtually inedible but again we only paid £50 so couldn’t be too disappointed. Overall a nice pleasant stay.

Nice staff! Hotel was well heated. Absolutely horrible view of a wall from the bedroom and the bed was to hard to sleep on comfortably.

Very quiet location, but beautiful views. Hotel needing a bit of tlc but hotel, and rooms clean and warm, and reasonably priced deal. Breakfast had good selection.

Had an overnight break here. All staff were so friendly from the welcoming receptionists, the house keeping staff and the restaurant staff who were also exceptionally efficient. The room was clean and we had a lovely Loch view. The beds were comfy. It is an old hotel and could do with a bit TLC, however we had a fantastic stay. Would highly recommend

The stay for one night was ok ,nice breakfast, however this seems to be a dog friendly hotel , what i do not approve of is owners allowing their dogs to sit on the couches a seats , this is wrong and the hotel need to amend this , we will not go back untill this is rectified

All staff we spoke were welcoming and all seemed to work well as a team. Hotel was adequate for value we paid for room, they were clean but tired. Breakfast was replenished constantly during service with plenty of verity of hot and cold buffet selections.

Great wee overnight stay with friends. Hotel is a bit in need of modernisation with creaky floorboards and no sound proofing but it has character. Can’t fault comfort of the bed and the shower was powerful. Staff were very attentive, food in the restaurant was really nice and the wee bar was buzzing with great singer. I would definitely go back as great location, lovely views of the loch and real value for money.

First class stay rooms comfortable and clean. All staff without exception were friendly helpful and polite. Had a nice evening meal and the breakfast was varied and plentiful. Scrambled eggs were soft and creamy. The view is outstanding. Would not hesitate to return

Had a lovely Loch view from our room. Room simple but with everything you needed. No complaints at all. TV a bit on the small side but not there to watch it

The staff were all very pleasant and helpful, the hotel was clean throughout. Our bed was a "small" double. The room could do with a freshen up, as we had the fog I realise we're not going to get the best room but it had a few mark on the walls loose paint by the window etc. The water in the bathroom was very hot (which was great) but it couldn't be turned down. We did mention this at reception as we left.

We had a great stay at the hotel, receptionist was very welcoming, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Our room was very clean and the view of the Loch breathtaking. Bathroom a tad small but functional. Bar and restaurant staff were all welcoming, friendly and professional. Meals were good no complaints. We would recommend and will return.
