We spent two nights DBB at the hotel and we had a great time. The food was excellent and the staff were so warm and friendly. The only thing that let it down was the bed in our room. We were in one of the annexe buildings . The room was a bit dated with dark furniture and the carpet was definitely past its best also the mattress was really hard. It didn't spoil our stay though

Lovely stay at Seamill Hydro. Room was huge and had a sea view. Quick check in by a very friendly recepionist. Had dinner in the hotel at night with a table right at the window watching the waves come onto the beach. Food was great and we were served quickly by friendly waiters. Breakfast had everything you would need. Continental and cooked breakfasts available. Fantastic choice. A great stay at Seamill Hydro and we will return as soon as we can.

A little disappointed with the room in the Courtyard. It was on the second floor looking onto the roof of the adjacent building with a view of the air conditioner which was very noisy. Luckily they gave us a family room so was able to sleep in the other bed. The room was very drab and dull. We enjoyed the restaurant and bar in the main hotel. The spa wasn’t anything special either. Wouldn’t stay again.

Exceptional value for money However accommodation was fab due to health limitations 3 floors up was a struggle Should have been made clearer when booking

Lovely room and had a great breakfast, the only downside was in the courtyard rooms the floors were very squeaky I actually got woken up with a person next door walking at 4.30 am.A lovely hotel with a great vibe but the squeaky floors would put me off returning sadly!!

The room we had in the courtyard seemed very dated, the carpet was rugged round the edges and dusty, one of the chairs at the desk was broken.living room area had a smell of sick. The service in the main hotel was ok views were great being able to use the leisure facilities even after check out time

Main hotel foyer stunning, Orangery restaurant lovely but can be cold sitting by the window Aura was nice but a bit tired around seating area in booth it was all ripped at top. Food in both places was good staff are lovely very welcoming and pleasant. Our room had a great view of the sea but was very tired needing a good painting, carpet needs cleaned and floor boards need fixed creaking the double glazing was burt so window all misty and varnish all cracked and peeling.

Stayed for an overnight in November. Was able to upgrade Room when we arrived for an extra £30. The Room was spacious with a sea view although it did need a little TLC. We used the facilities of the Pool/Spa and found them to be very good. Food was excellent with a great choice. Staff were superb from start to finish from reception right through to breakfast service. Special mention for Declan in the Dining Room who was one of the waiting staff.

Excellent hotel, recovered well from a previous less than great stay. Duty Manager ensured all concerns were addressed. Comfortable rooms, excellent food. Great pool, c/w sauna & steam room. Changing rooms a bit small, but building work going on, maybe that will address it? Smashing (busy) gym as well.

Front of house staff were lovely and very friendly and helpful. Upgraded room was welcome with a sea view and a sofa to relax in. We had dinner in the Orangery Restaurant that evening and it was ok. My husbands starter and his burger main course were both over cooked, but the service was lovely. Breakfast the next morning was good and the coffee was really top notch - not sure what beans they use, but one of the best I've tasted. The top aspect of the hotel is the view and the beachfront. Like a lot of big hotels, this one is starting to look a little tired.

The only adjustment I would recommend is to make the pool and jacuzzi warmer in winter.

We have stayed at the Seamill Hydro several times and enjoy the setting and the beach. This overnight stay was part of my retirement gifts. On arrival the check-in was quick and the staff member was polite. We were allocated room 102 in the Argyle block. The room was on the ground floor and unfortunately on the side of the smoking area. The room was spacious and clean apart from the main window, which was supposed to give us a partial sea view. It was dirty. The noise of other guests at the smoking area was quite off putting. We dined in the Orangery restaurant within the hotel. The service was very good and the food was delicious. We found the bed quite hard. A blackout blind would have been good on the dirty window as the light from the main hotel building shone in. The brown see through curtains made no difference. On waking up the next morning the heating was not working and the shower was cold. We informed reception, who informed us that they were aware and were sorry, and that was it. So a cold shower it was. We had breakfast as part of our stay which was in the aurora restaurant. The breakfast was lovely. Not our best stay at Seamill.
