Overall an excellent stay. Warm and comfortable. Excellent pool. Breakfast was good but the evening meal wasn't our usual choice of menu. The bedroom and dining room could've been better lit, as we found it hard to read. A lovely stay tho.

The hotel and grounds were beautiful. All the staff were welcoming and friendly. We had afternoon tea which was lovely and spent all afternoon in the gorgeous spa. Enjoyed an excellent evening meal on the terrace along with a few drinks. I cannot fault anything, it was a thoroughly enjoyable day/night and will definitely be back in the future x

By far the best hotel I have ever stayed in. From the moment myself and friend drove into the grounds of the hotel, we were amazed. Lovely greeting on arrival, then the most delicious cream scones. tails were 2 for 1 until 6pm, they ones we sampled were delicious. On arrival at our room, we were amazed by the space in it, 2 King sized beds, 1 each. We choose to eat in the brasserie and went for tapas, it was wonderful The best 2 nights sleep, I've had in ages. The following morning we spent an hour in the swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, the most amazing surroundings and facilities. After showering, we went for breakfast. There was so much choice, of very good quality. We took a taxi to Spital and then the metro to Liverpool. The taxi team were very efficient and friendly. The only fault was my own that I didn't book for a couple more nights. Would highly recommend here, and ignore what others have written on trip advisor. A regular in the swimming pool told us, it was the Wirrals best kept secret and she wasn't wrong.

This hotel and Spa is absolutely fantastic. I can't write enough good things about it. First o the staff are amazing. They go above ans beyond. Spa is amazing. Brilliant treatments and made part of out wedding anniversary extra special. And what a surprise to be upgraded to the penthouse suit. So made out visit even better. The food was also fantastic. Great choice ans excellent service. We could not recommend this hotel highly. We could say its the best wedding anniversary we have celebrated..and it was because of hotel and spa. One if our nee favourite places..we will be returning soon.

We had a fantastic stay at the place where we got married. It brought back lovely memories, the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We were greeted by a lovely lady on reception and Carl provided excellent service in The Lawns Restaurant. He is an asset to the hotel and has excellent knowledge of the food. He reassured me my meal was fully gluten free and cooked separately in the kitchen and he told me about their separate gluten free toaster for my toast. He also showed me ingredients of the bread and the scone recipe for the cream tea to put my mind at rest. I get anxious eating out so this really helped me. I enjoyed my breakfast and cream tea so much. Our room was lovely and clean and the gardens are beautifully kept. We enjoyed sitting in the lounge for drinks too and the staff were great in there too.

Stunning grounds, beautiful hotel, staff are so friendly and can’t do enough for you. Loved the attention to detail. We asked if we could look around at the wedding rooms to which they were more than happy to send their wedding co ordintor Jess to show us around. My daughter is looking for a wedding venue and this is a stunning place.
