Lovely hotel. Superb value deal. Room impeccably clean and lovely and warm. Room was quiet and very dark at night so we got a great night sleep. Huge bathroom with both bath and shower and lovely toiletries. All staff we met were friendly and welcoming. Cream tea and Buck’s Fizz on arrival was delicious and is served in the bar up to 5pm. 3 course meals each night in the conservatory were excellent value. Portions were huge and everything was cooked fresh. Plenty of choice on the menu but several items had a surcharge if you were on DBB deal. Chocolate tasting plate for desert was well worth the £1surcharge. Breakfast in the restaurant was cooked fresh, Only problem we had was every attraction we thought of visiting in the area was closed until Easter - castles, musuems, garden centres were all closed and even Elgin cathedral was closed for lunch. Would certainly go back

A lovely Hotel, our room was very spacious & well appointed, bathroom was large with a bath, a great power shower & underfloor heating. The staff were all very friendly & attentive. Our breakfasts & our meals on both night were excellent. Our package deal that we had for our stay was great value. We look forward to staying again in the near future.

The hotel setting was lovely, the staff in reception and the restaurant went out of their way to look after us. The room was comfortable and the shower was the best I have used in years. In the restaurant the food was excellent and the plates were really hot, which meant the food did not go cold. We will go back!

This is NOT a 4* hotel!! I was very disappointed in this hotel, I was there many years ago and it’s sad to see it’s decline. Communal areas were dirty, windows you couldn’t see out of for dirt! Cobwebs everywhere. Curtains in our room were threadbare! Gray ‘white’ towels you could spit through and quiet frankly a horrible bathroom. We had a cream tea with out deal and we got a microwaved scone with jam, no butter or cream. Had to find a staff member to bring us some! Dinner was average and one night the sticky toffee pudding was as hard as a brick!! Again microwaved. Breakfast was good. There were a lot of coach parties in for one or two nights on a tour of Scotland from all over the world and I felt embarrassed that they think this is our 4* standard. We enjoyed Nairn and the hotel location is lovely just a pity the hotel is not, will not be back.

Great hotel. Rooms are massive and massive beds for a standard double room. Beautiful gardens and view. Staff are ever so friendly and nothing any trouble for them. Clean hotel and really lovely meals. Breakfast as you ask for, dinners excellent. Will book this hotel again really enjoyed our stay

Had a lovely time for the 3 days we spent a Muthu Nairn. Excellent staff and service, especially the hard-pressed breakfast team( I believe they were experiencing staff shortages). Large comfortable room with all the usual facilities inc walk in shower. Food was excellent although a slight gripe that on 2 nights their was a restricted menu, which wasn't highlighted) Good value for money break and we will return

We really enjoy our stays at this hotel, this being our third visit. All aspects including rooms, food and service are very good and will definitely return. One little niggle on this last stay however was that on the last morning the hotel steps and front ought to have been salted as it was very icy.

We had a great weekend the staff were very nice and polite. We had a problem with the shower in or room but we were moved to another straight away. Lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds and only a small walk away from the beach. Our room was lovely and the bed was comfortable too. The food was really nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. Karen the receptionist was so helpful, professional and friendly. Will definitely be booking this hotel again.
