Good stay, dinner was lovely. Room needs some attention to it as there silly wee bits that could easily be fixed. Radiator doesn’t work room was freezing and didn’t like how there was a conjoined door to nxt room as you could hear everything that was going on in room. Breakfast was good but dont know how they can call the continental breakfast continental lol!!

Staff were great, pleasant and helpful. Room was dark and in need of TLC the bathroom was dirty and needs a good clean room 106. We didn’t sleep much as there was a constant noise(maybe an extractor or generator or similar ) Actually the bed it’s self was quite comfy ………outside of hotel needs some brightening up get rid of the weeds etc We won’t rush back!

Before booking we rang the hotel to confirm that they had a room suitable for my disability. The essential was that it must be wheelchair accesible and have a walk in shower and not a bath. They confirmed that they had such a room. We than rang my hotelbreak and they booked the room on our behalf, We then rang the hotel again to confirm we had booked the room and that it was an essential that that the room had a walk in shower. When we arrived at the hotel at 3.30pm we were immediately advised the only ground floor room they had was with a bath for the first night. We were given a room with no space for the wheelchair on the top floor of the hotel. We had no option but to take this room. We were given a suitable room on the second night. and in fairness they moved our luggage for us. This second room was not without its faults. It did have plenty of space but had numerous faults. In the bathroom, the hand rail at the side of the toilet was insecure being the worst. Almost all the bathroom fittings were loose. The tea and coffee sachets had been left in a cup of water. One of the bedside lights was not working and the television did not work. (the television in the first room had not worked either but it was repaired when reported. None of the faults in the second room were fixed. When we went to our car on the first night we found the hotel besieged by a mass of football supporters drinking at an outside bar. Social distancing was none existent. Covid obviously does not exist when Rangers are at home. At breakfast the arrangements for Covid protection were practically none existent. It is the only hotel we have been to with a full self service buffet breakfast. In Scotland it was still compulsory to wear masks indoors but this hotel must have had an exemption. The hot breakfast was cold and extremely bland.

Area where hotel is looked rundown and entrance to hotel was unappealing. Hotel inside looked modern but still needed upgrading. Room was ok lots of marks and stains on carpet . Bathroom was tiny could not open bathroom door and shower door together ., couldn't brush teeth without elbow hitting shower door . We were given a card to fill in for breakfast . Everyone's breakfast was wrong . Would i stay again no . However it was value for money .

Stayed 2 nights to celebrate my wife’s birthday . The hotel kindly upgraded us to a suite,the room was clean and comfortable. We used the restaurant on both nights the food was well prepared and the service we received from both Ewan and Zoe was friendly and pleasant well done thank you. Hotel was a bit further from city centre than we thought but there was a bus stop just outside with a frequent service.All in all we thought excellent value for money will definitely use the hotel again and could highly recommend it

Best part of the stay was breakfast cooked to order and buffet with great staff. Day food was a no and as for clearing tables after both food and drink ours sat for 2 ours eventually I had to go ask . Rooms were good and clean. No dining on Saturday night due to party .

Very friendly receptionists and bar staff. Immaculate room and very comfortable bed. Plenty of choice at breakfast however cooked breakfast was disappointing with dried out bacon and black pudding and overdone sausages. Would certainly have no hesitation in booking this hotel again

Recommend by a friend and I'm glad I decided to visit, the hotel is very unique to Glasgow, tunnocks tea cakes in the room what more can you ask for and the food is amazing! I will definitely be back and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone!

This hotel as echoed by some reviews isn't much to look at from the outset but it doesn't half surprise you when you pop inside. Fantastic reception staff, highly professional but at the same time welcoming and chatty. Bedrooms are very comfortable and clean. We had both breakfast and dinner here and boy does it exceed its expectations. Very generous portion sizes and very tasty. Would highly recommend the steak. Will defiantly be back next time we we need to stop over in Glasgow

Stayed at the hotel as we attended a concert at Hampden Park. Check in was quick and the guys on the desk were really friendly and helpful. Room was perfect and loved the tea cakes! Breakfast was nice and the staff couldn't do enough for you!
