Beautiful setting, each room has its own bespoke luxury design and the staff are very attentive ensuring you have a spoiled time. Food is excellent value for money with lovely little touches. Staff didn't wear name badges however the young Italian lady's customer service skills need complementing.

Beautiful room, friendly helpful staff, amazing food. Thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay which was a treat for our anniversary. Lewis, (the restaurant manager I believe) has a hugely impressive knowledge of tails, make sure you get him to whisk something together for you if he's on duty! Nothing was too much trouble for him and the rest of the staff, would definitely recommend a stay or at least a visit for lunch/dinner - or tails !

Had a night away with myself and sister for her 21st on arrival staff could not do enough for you seen us up to our stunning room and phoned 10min later to check everything was ok :) we went down stair at 5pm and sat outside we gave our order for two -tales these took just over 10min to arrive this was fine we finished them about 20-25 past 5 we waited till 5.55pm for someone to come out to take a order for more drinks but nothing ended up going inside to pay for the 2 drinks to find no one at bar had to chase staff down to find out they were all in a meeting as they have a wedding this week that is fine but feel as though we were a bit forgot about as this was going on :( to be fair this was the only time the full night we felt this way but not even offer a drink for the wait :( the only think about the room i can say that is not bad but more of a suggestion it would be nice to have bath robes in the rooms as when you come out the stunning bath it nice just to put a robe on and chill for getting ready and the staff room is right across from our room so at 9pm when the staff were finishing the noise of the doors closing over and over again was annoying as you could no hear tv but was assured this would be fixed but staff were a little noise as well as they were outside our room door talking and could hear every word but these are rather minor compared to some places i have stayed i would defo be back but could only rate 4 star due to noise and felling a bit forgot about :)

Overnight treat for a birthday. Very impressive drive and entrance. Was pleasantly surprised at understated elegance of reception and more so by welcoming pleasant staff. David the deputy manager is just a delightful gent who is obviously proud of the hotel ( as he has every right to be) and delighted us with an upgrade and dealt quickly and efficiently with check in and himself showed us to room even offering help with overnight bags. The room was MULL and was just perfect. It's obvious no expense has been spared it was an adventure in itself checking it all out. So many little touches impressed big time We ventured downstairs for a little refreshment and the kind and obvious experienced bar man made a delicious French Martini ( even though it wasn't on menu) . Dinner in restaurant was a real treat despite some minor mistakes with order which were sorted quick smart. Staff are lovely and on signing for bill were surprised when we pointed out they had undercharged us. Restaurant seems unhurried and though it was obviously busy we never felt under pressure to vacate table or hurry in anyway. Food itself was excellent and it's definitely a meal which I will remember. I just adored the decor and ambience of the place. Even the shower temperature was perfect and water hot as soon as tap was turned on. One excellent sleep later we had a beautifully cooked relaxing breakfast with once again excellent service from a lovely little waitress ( I think her name was Gemma ) nothing was a problem for her. I just can't wait till my next visit and a little part of me wants to keep quiet about place as don't really wish to share this fabulous place. Bathrobes would be nice and there are wee minor glitches every new place has but they are not even worth mentioning as they certainly don't affect your stay. A huge thank you to the staff of this wonderful establishment I will certainly remember the start to my 53rd year fondly. Oh and thanks for the complimentary French Martini for my Birthday. Much appreciated . Hope to see you again SOON
