Friendly and helpful reception and breakfast staff. Good spa facilities. Dinner disappointing. Menu unimaginative, average quality and overpriced.

Very kind and accommodating staff, food was absolutely fabulous, large choice for breakfast and the tails are to die for! Room was extremely comfortable and the hotel itself is set in such beautiful grounds! 10/10, would definitely recommend to any of my friends and family!

Apart from no food being available one night - because there was no chef (apparently) and no sandwiches or bar food were available either, everything else was very good, and all the staff were very attentive.

Just come home from a lovely weekend stay . We stayed on a deal for 3 nights and chose this hotel for its location, close to Tenby and other nice beaches. Our room 15 was on the second floor at the end of the corridor so nice and quiet. There was a wedding during our stay but this didn't bother us too much , the music kept us awake until midnight but then it all went quiet. Food was very nice , we had dinner in the hotel 2 nights which we enjoyed (compliments to the chef) the cheesecake was really nice! Breakfast was also very nice, would like to thank Di who looked after us very well even making our toast on our last morning as it wasn't so busy! She went out of her way to have a chat with us making sure we had everything we needed. Most of the staff were friendly, not sure why the young lad in the bar said he couldn't make me a pimms ! We didn't make use of the spa as the weather was so nice but it did look very popular. Would stay again when visiting Wales . Thank you.

When we arrived in Lamphey and saw the hotel across the fields it was so impressive we couldn’t believe that it was actually where we would be staying. The hotel must be unique in having the added bonus of the remains of the Bishop’s Palace at the end of the drive and I would recommend all guests to view this well preserved heritage site. The twin room we had was spacious, comfortable and with a view of the apple trees on the lawn in full blossom. It was a pleasure to use the leisure centre with its beautiful swimming pool, sauna and spa pool. The location of the Lamphey Court is ideal for anyone who wants to explore the Pembroke Coast. In our short break we visited Tenby and Caldey Island, took a boat trip to Skomer with its fantastic views of puffins and spent a day walking at Stackpole with its stunning cliffs, secluded sandy beaches and abundant wildlife.

On arrival we thought how impressive the main hotel was, we stayed in a groundfloor room adjacent to the main building, requested by us as their is no lift in the main building, nice and peaceful, bed a little small, and room a bit dated, but everything in there that we needed. Dinner was fab on both evenings, all home cooked I thought reasonably priced, special mention to the steak pie...it was top notch, service very friendly and efficient, each morning breakfast was good. The spa was superb, modern, clean etc, the patio area outside lovely for pre dinner drinks in the sunshine. I would certainly book this hotel again Pembrokeshire is a beautiful place to holiday.
