Had a relaxing stay at the hotel. Wendy in Giovanni's restaurant in particular was very pleasant and made sure we got a nice table for our meal and was very welcoming. We will be back. :)

Had a fantastic time staying at the Morlich hotel, one of the hotels in the Macdonald complex. Room was spacious and clean. The soft furnishing looked very classy and luxurious. The bed was big, soft and felt like sleeping in a giant marshmallow. As a couple who spend a couple of nights a month touring in hotels, this experience was one of the best and most definitely the best value for money. Used gym, pool, sauna and steam room, all fantastic. Breakfast was served in the Highland hotel. The set up for breakfast was really good. Had some lovely fruit compotes with yogurt, as well as the usual buffet breakfast. Fantastic time and excellent value for money.

We stayed here as part of our skiing package and paid £163 per night including breakfast and dinner which was a bargain. The standard of the hotel was amazing. The food was exceptionally good in the Italian and the 'steak house'. The hotel staff were very friendly. <20mins to the Aviemore skiing area. A real stunner. I would like to try more hotels of this chain to see if the standard is as high!?

Just returned from 2 night stay at the recently refurbished Morlich hotel.Normally we stay at the Highlands hotel but this wasn't available on our dates so we were offered the Morlich. Having stayed in the hotel when it was the Inn we were a bit unsure what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. Although the rooms are smaller they are still extremely comfortable,and had a lovely big shower instead of a bath.The courtyard breakfast restaurant has been completely changed and what a difference ,used to feel like a school dinner hall. We stay at McDonald hotels regularly for weekends away and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
