We stayed at the Kings Head Hotel for a couple of nights over Easter. The hotel itself is great, lovely rooms, clean, stylish and luxuriously decorated. We also had massages in the Spa which were fantastic, they beauticians really listened to what we wanted and tailored our treatments. Great value and highly recommended. The staff on reception were also friendly and welcoming. As part of our stay we had a 3 course meal included in the restaurant and breakfast. The food itself was great, very well presented and extremely tasty. The service however was sadly appalling, both at dinner and breakfast both days. The restaurant wasn't full either. It didn't by any way ruin our stay, but such a shame as this hotel has everything going for it.

I took my Mum here for a girl's treat weekend. We had a blast. We loved the hotel room, the tails were fantastic and food fabulous. It is beautifully set out. friendly helpful staff and the spa was one of the best I have experienced. I would highly recommend this as the perfect break with friends or even romantic get-away. Cirencester has some nice shops and restaurants and the Roman History is very interesting. You are also a short drive to the beautiful surrounding countryside. I hope this hotel does well, they deserve to be a success.

This is a really nice hotel. Centrally located, quiet and thoughtfully decorated to blend historic references with modernity. The service is excellent , special mention for Anna Maria, in charge of restaurant on Saay evening, very knowledgeable, efficient and welcoming. The food is of a very high standard and immaculately presented. To be picky, the hotel is too warm ( almost uncomfortable in the restaurant) and the rooms only dimly lit. Would certainly recommend and return.
