Really conveniently situated just a short stroll from the town centre but (if in a rear facing room) nice and quiet with a splendid view. Room had all we needed but was quite warm with no air con, so the window stayed open all night. Really lovely staff, receptionist allowed us to check in an hour early and told us about booking breakfast through the front desk for the most reasonable price (£10.50pp). Breakfast was excellent and food delicious. Again staff on duty really friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone!

Had a great overnight stay at the Lee Wood hotel at Easter. This is a very comfortable hotel in the centre of Buxton. A great base to explore the surrounding area. Rooms are modern , comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was leisurely, buffet style fruit, cereals, pastries etc with hot food cooked from an extensive choice to order. Just the thing to start your day, especially after sampling the beers on offer at Buxton Tap the night before !! All in all a great stay, would recommend to anyone.

My wife and I enjoyed another fantastic night away at the Lee Wood Hotel in Buxton. The staff are lovely and friendly, the food is excellent and the room was a proper country hotel room. We managed to get a great deal including dinner and breakfast too. I can not recommend this hotel highly enough!

8 ramblers from Somt enjoyed a four day break at this hotel using the restaurant each night, we all thought the staff were brilliant. The range of food provided was excellent. This restaurant deserves to be very popular.

Food was excellent especially the wide choice for the continental breakfast, slept like a log on the comfortable bed pleasant stay all round, taxi only £3 to town centre, cheaper than all day parking.

The staff were all very friendly, polite and helpful and the room we were given was large, well appointed and clean. The breakfast was good (personal preferrence....I'd have preferred the bacon a bit crispier... maybe ask guests how they like it cooked?).
