It’s was very comfortable and well designed. Felt luxurious for the amount of money we paid. Our original room didn’t have a bath so the staff upgraded us at no extra cost so really looked after us. Good facilities and will definitely be back!

The Aparthotel part of County Hotel is a fairly recent addition located very centrally on the corner of Westgate and Clayton Street. The two bedroom apartment we had for four days is pretty new and very fresh with a good layout: a large 30 m2 open plan space with a living area with comfy sofas, a dining area with a table and four chairs, and finally a kitchen space, a 14m2 bedroom with an ensuite and a 12m2 bedroom with another bathroom/guest WC. The bedrooms have their own Philips TVs with a third one in the living room. The bathrooms are nicly tiled with good sanitary ware. Good water pressure and loads of . With the high quality finish of the apartment, the great location, customer friendly staff and good cleaning service I would normally rate this five out of five. Being opposite the O2 Acadamy it may also get noisy when there are concerts (none when we were there) as we did experience some traffic noise around the property. Still, I think this probably is the best aparthotel in Newcastle and I will surely return.
